[Congress] I'm back! [Day 2463]

Day 2,463, 14:35 Published in Canada Canada by MCMXCIlI

Greetings fellow eCanucks,

My visit to eNL was a decent one. Their population is considerably smaller than eCanada's, but they have some really chill people in their ranks. I wish I could have been more active in their community, but for some strange reason I just couldn't. It just wasn't the same.

Alas I have returned. Not too much has changed here, aside from the training war with the states. Same faces, same partisan stuff, same ol' same ol'. It feels good to be home :3

AFAIK, I haven't written a lengthy congress article since we could run for congress in specific regions (The superior model btw 😛 ). I just haven't seen a reason to to be honest. Before, it was competitive. It was you, vs. another candidate. It was a personal race to win favor. It was do, or die. Now, all it is is a list of people. The current process is a much less personal model, and as such, I felt like the level of personal output wasn't as necessary as an article from the party in general is. That being said, now that I have returned to eCanada, I want to ramp up my activity 3 fold. Which means I'll return to personal articles for congressional candidacy, amongst other things.

I intend to run for congress this month. I also intend to run for CP in September, but that's another article for another time. My first goal as congressman will be to review the Immigration council. It is my opinion that the current model is lacking of any real incentive. Since any congressman can skirt the process, I feel like (and have felt like since its introduction) that much needed restructuring is in order. I'd like to work with every willing congressman to make this work. It's also lacking any guidelines for foreign Canadian cit req's, which isn't really a big deal by any means, but it would be nice to have a concrete set of guidelines for congress to follow in regards to the whole Immigration Process.

Anyhoo, that's about it. Tl😉r: I'm running for my 10th congress term, I wanna fix immigration, and I'm back.
