[BB4CP] What have you done for me lately?

Day 2,781, 13:25 Published in USA USA by BeachBro

Firstly here is some music!

I first off want to thank SFP, AMP, The Albanian Unity Party, United States Freedom Union, and The Trade Federation Party for their support in the upcoming election. I would also like to thank WTP, USWP, BSP, the FEDs and all the other parties of the eWorld for their consideration of me as Country President. I would also like to thank all the individuals in general for supporting me, voting, commenting and shouting my articles. I greatly appreciate all that you guys do! Thank you to everyone who voted for me in the Primaries. I will give you all a big hug when I am elected.

Sometimes we find ourselves at a crossroads. I found myself at one last night. Should I go left or should I go right. I think it’s a question we all ask ourselves. Whether it’s should I eat this apple or this entire chocolate cake! I personally always want to choose the cake. But we all know the apple is what’s best for us. I was torn. Should I continue down the current path or should I choose the path to cake? It sure is easier to eat that cake. I think those times are when we truly find ourselves. So here is to finding ourselves.

What have you done for me lately is a statement that keeps popping my mind. And what have I done for the country lately? Well when I came back in December from RL and its demand on my time, I approached Wild Owl about getting more involved. He sent me to Dave Gulya who at the time was Secretary of the interior in Wild Owl's Cabinet should he get elected to the office of CP. I had also gone to Wild Owl with the idea of restoring B4N and so began the restoration of that amazing program. During that time again I approached Wild Owl ( Luckily he’s an approachable guy ) about joining the IES team and also serving that way. So he began training me in that department. The next two months went on with me being Deputy Secretary of the Interior as well as joining Congress both months.

Then, in Wild Owl’s last run for CP Dave Gulya stepped down as SoI and recommended I take his spot. I, of course, accepted. Excited to do my part and take on a bigger role. This also gave me the chance the begin to learn the inner workings of the Cabinet and what everyone else was doing; the basics really. It as well allowed me to continue doing what I am most passionate about. Which is helping the newer players as well as the old as Secretary of the Interior. So during the month I did my job as SoI running B4N as well as BU2SU while Kodos ran MoW and SAR97 ran SS. We also raised the BU2SU level cap from 28 to 35 to allow all of D1 to participate. Near the end of Wild Owls term I was elected to Congress as well as Speaker of the House.

Now Wild Owl's terms were over and Trekker was looking to be the next guy to take the seat. He asked me to stay on as SoI. I accepted. SAR97 unfortunately had to leave the team due to RL. I was however able to bring on a bright young up-and-comer in the name of F. Underwood. He helped bring back Stack the Wall, a program that gives gold to players for replying to a post within their MU. Over the next 2 months I ran DoI, while still serving in Congress and getting elected as SoH for the second month in a row. I was also asked by TheNorm to come on over to NSC and offer my help there. I of course joined onto that team as I wanted to learn about what exactly NSC does and get hands on experience. So lets see so far what at this point I was involved in. I am SoI, and have revived two programs that were dead when I received them. Before that I was dSoI as well as been in congress and SoH 2 times. Not to mention NSC and IES deputy. During Trekkers second term I was also elected PP of AMP and helped secure, with SFP help, the highest Congress turnout position for AMP.

Before Trekkers 3rd and final term he asked me to take over as Vice President. As you all know I accepted. It made me a sad little bunneh at the same time as I would have to hand off the DoI. She was my baby and what I am most passionate about. But Aramec would take care of her. I of course still assisted wherever and whenever I was needed in DoI. I was also elected a 3rd and final time to the seat of SoH. I had also taken on the AMP MRE program as QM. I also took on being a QM for EZC and their commune system. as well as still doing my duties as IES and NSC. I also still was in charge of B4N under Aramec.

What I am trying to say here is that we can all say what we have done a long while ago. Instead why not what you have done lately. What have you done for your country as of late. This is what I have done. I wish I could have done more. I wouldn't trade any of it for anything. I am passionate about everything I do. I put my heart and soul into it. I know you see that America.

Side note: To the challenge offered up by Tyler. I will have to decline as this is a holiday weekend. I cannot ask my family who is on their way as we speak from Florida to spend time with me to sit around while I do this debate. Which would be entertaining and great I regretfully have to decline. I hope you understand as ever since I have joined the Army I have very little time to spend with my parents and 3 brothers.
