{Aus DoFA} MPP Renewal with the Japan

Day 3,056, 19:38 Published in Australia Australia by Australian Foreign Affairs

G'day eAussie's,

Well as foretold, we have a range of MPPs coming up for renewal. The current one being voted on is the eUSA renewal, however next in line is eJapan.

Japan

Old eJapan, well what can the DoFA say about eJapan...

Many of you Australians are well aware of our long time friendship with eJapan, our partnership in our alliance Nebula, partnership in different battles. eJapan has been a very close friend of eAustralia for many years. Together both countries have grown closer and always contact each other about happenings in the eWorld. Both countries are currently involved in a 3 way training war with eSouth Africa, which is running smoothly due to the close planning of all nations.

But even if we have a close relationship with our old time friend eJapan, we still need to look at the pro's and con's of the MPP. As things can change over time...

What are the Pros to this?

Pro's:

- Long time history between our two nations.
- eJapan brings medium to high military strength, but with the ability to call on outside MUs to assist.
- Long time partner in our alliance Nebula.
- eJapan has a good history of strong ties with our other allied/friendly nations.
- eJapan is always in a TW or region deals which help during the quiet times to set CoTD for Australian MUs.

What are the Con's to this?

Note: As you might notice, a lot of these 'Cons' are set points, however in the italic, the DoFA tries to weigh it up to the current state of affairs and gives a response.

- Cost of 10,000cc for the MPP (DoF has assured we can easily afford this MPP cost)
- Conflict with other countries (No direct aggression toward any of our friends)
- Active/Upcoming wars. (eJapan has always thought through there battles before launching them, they currently have a TW taking place and no plans on hostile actions that could reflect negatively on eAustralia).
- Stable leadership?. (eJapan has currently a very strong and stable leadership. Plus a strong community spirit to go with it.)

Conclusion

The DoFA sees the MPP renewal as a straight forward MPP renewal. The current government of eJapan is also looking forward to the MPP renewal and furthering the relationship between our two great nations.

While the DoFA see's more benefits to it then risks involved, as always the government will not tell people what to vote. But as a true democratic country, your government leaves it up to the elected congress members to vote the way they feel is right.

We here at the DoFA ask the citizens and congress members to feel free to ask any questions, to discuss this proposal. The law will only be proposed 24hrs after this newspaper is published. And as always, if you have questions, please ask them.
