[Appleby] Appraisal of the system/legal serious silliness

Day 2,901, 06:46 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Humphrey Appleby

Good afternoon gents o7,

I have been asked by the one of the proposed CP Triumvirates Immanuel Kant to go over our current system, particularly legislative-wise, to ascertain which areas are working as indeed and the others that ought to be concluded. At current I doubt the majority of us are even sure of what our current laws, and by extension, system of government is. This is above all a problem of accountability with individual citizen’s facility to understand and participate in the political process unnecessarily restricted.

Above all, like the mess of our real live legislation, it can be quite an intensely boring part of the game. Largely their ideal function is to serve as agreed compromised deals between the established political groups, results according to the strength and persuasion of their vision on how the country ought to be governed. However, as I’m sure loyal subscribers are well aware, the participation skills of our average congress member has never been historically flattering.

Further – the legal wrangling that some of us are infamous for shouldn’t have to be serious. People tend to forget relatively quickly that this is simply a game, a rather badly designed and maintained one, of which the true strength of our retention is largely each other. We can afford to approve serious silliness as part of our national identity and by extension our ‘operating code’.

Thus, this review will have two main objectives:-
-To establish potential simplifications/streamlining of congressional codes and laws
-To make them slightly more interesting and entertaining 🙂

I am quite happy to take on associates who would be interested in going through the relevant material with me, I expect it’s more than a one man job.

Much obliged!
