Recruitment has been a long time problem. Many Party Presidents have tried to pull in a great amount of members. While some have succeeded, most haven't in any significant way. It is an extremely difficult task, but not impossible. Not just the Federalist Party but eRepublik as a whole is slowly dying off. This game is not for everyone by any means.When I first joined this game and the Federalist Party, we were at a staggering 600 members. In retrospect that is an outrageous number considering our little over 400 in-game member count today. So what is there to do? Sit down and have a drink, because I will tell you.

The Federalist Party needs a recruiting drive. This means more than just messaging new members as they come into the game. Albeit messaging is extremely important, we must find more than just one mean of getting players into the Federalist Party. We need to not only search inside the game, but outside. I plan to put flyers around not only my local school bulletin boards, but the bulletin board at my place of work. I have even promoted eRepublik on other forums that I participate in and plan to continue to do so. I welcome anyone and everyone to do the same. This is an ambitious task, but it is the only way to bring life this game once had back to the Feds and eUSA.

Now, what happens when we get these players on? We need to convince them why they should play this game that was put on the backburner of the internet. Media will be extremely important. We must showcase the Feds in all of its glory. This will be done with two articles per week along with FedRadio promoting the Feds at every turn. FedRadio needs a more set schedule not just on air times, but the content of the show. Both Federalist Press and FedRadio need structure to help push the Federalist Party to higher numbers. These two tools almost seem under used and must be advertised more. While there are several long time Feds who shout the Federalist Press, FedRadio is rarely seen on the shout feed. This will need to change.

Now, stronger media is all fine and dandy, but wait, theres more. It is each and every one of the Feds that will make this goal happen. That means a strong community. The IRC channel #fedpartychat used to be known as one of the most active channels known in eUSA. And was even advertised as such. However, now it is not known as such. Anytime I am on my computer (which is a lot) I am on IRC. I myself do not think I am active enough on IRC, yet I am still the 2nd most active user on the channel according to Chanstats. Even the forums require a total restructure. Things must be found easier for new members to navigate through if they are to stick around. I have a 100% solid plan for this task! It needs to be done and will be done under my watch.

The goals I have previously stated cannot be done alone. It is the Proud and Horny Federalist Party as a community that will make my great ambitions possible. Without the community there is no Federalist Party. We must all work for the same goal. My plan will strengthen and grow that community. Let's build something amazing together Feds!
