Hello eIreland,
Dáil elections are upon us, and it's time again for our citizen's to vote for a party in support of their congress candidates. Without further ado, I'm pleased present Éire Aonair's March '13 Dáil Listings.
ÉA Dáil Listings
Selection System
The placements of congress hopefuls was determine by myself and the four other administrative members of the party. Each candidate was rated out of 5 by our team, and the average was used to rank the order of candidate on our ballot. The ratings of candidates were very close, as we are fortunate to have so many qualified and knowledgable members to call on.
Thank you to everyone in ÉA who decided to run this month, if we can't find a place in Dáil for you this month I hope it wont discourage you from applying in the future.
I'm ones again pleased to be able to offer so many well known and active candidates. Good luck to all of them, and may all of the votes that go toward them be votes well spent.
Let your vote be an exercise of individual choice, a reflection of your loyalty to eIreland, and a result of the careful application of independent thought.
I encourage you to voice your support, concerns, or questions!
Cheers,
Ian E Coleman

Nice Ian.

Strength and Honour
I see 2 players honouring and promoting PTOs in your top 10. That and the threats of PTO made my MUFC towards another party that disagree with his politics, it is very concerning that he calls this team "Irish finest".
Ian, what is EA's stance on past PTOs (of every parties) and further PTO (that would just pursue a viscious circle of hate and griefing imvho) ?
Cordially,
http://eireaonair.userboard.net/t216-eire-aonair-s-stance-on-democratic-practices
This document outlines EA's approach to elections and the ideals that we want to protect. Note section [3.11]. To maximize equality in democratic opportunities for eIreland's citizens, I believe that it is important, similarly, to ensure that those who are exercising voting rights as a "member" of a party intend to remain a constituent of that same party. Violation of that concept is effectively a violation of the ideals of Eire Aonair.
EA has no stance on past domestic party take overs as such, but our leader did participate in the "joint statement on recent affairs" at the time it was inked.

I have full confidence in my party members when it comes to their respect for democracy going forward here in eIreland. Even if tensions are still high and some regrettable things have been said, we all genuinely realize that the time for domestic feuds is over.
Glad to hear it from you, will further PTO-promotion behavior by one of your party member will result in sanctions?
No. Our members are responsible for themselves, and if they need me to threaten them with sanctions then they shouldn't be a member of EA in the first place.
If the president of EA and/or members and administration are given good reason to doubt the ability of a member to be a good congress member however, it will be reflected in the opportunities they are afforded with the party in the future.
I shall open a file for a report then 😉
"Even if tensions are still high and some regrettable things have been said, we all genuinely realize that the time for domestic feuds is over."
Horse. Shit.
The current situation was created by your party via poor leadership, and I can't tell whether it was deliberate or just out of incompetence, because either way, there's a nice excuse to ring the patriotic bell and get everyone to forget about the shit MUFC has pulled.

Originally my comment was just a dismissal but I feel like making a few points instead.
Brian, the quote that you've got there doesn't have anything to do with what you wrote. That's a pretty clear sign of an ad hominem attack.
As for what you did write: The current government is not an "EA government". The party isn't involved in telling MUFC how to run things, we simply supported him, one of our members, based on two previous years where he ran extremely active and effective governments. That's not incompetence.
The current situation is that we're winning a war with the eUK who stabbed us in the back when the opportunity was presented by our suicidal congress. You'll also notice that our government is more active than it has been since the last time MUFC was Cp, and that we've managed to enter negotiations to found a new brotherhood (proving accusations that this government has dropped the ball on foreign affairs wrong).
If EA wanted to do itself a service it would take credit for this term and remind everyone of what MUFC has done... I invite you to give us every opportunity.
