Canada: Back To Normal?
What is 'normal'? Anyhoo, if you look at our economy (please click "Show as table") you see that we are out of Ireland and India. You will also notice that our revenue begins to climb in day 2,462. This is because our Capital has finally came home! Some say Winnipeg is our cultural capital so this is only fitting.
We continue with RW's. Alberta should wrap it up. Ireland is finished with RW's and now we can put the whole confusing mess of the TW's behind us. In retrospect the TW's should have been started immediately upon finding the mission that required the TP award. That really blindsided all 3 countries CP's. We had only just been elected and were organizing our Cabinets when we had to put our FA hats on. (Stole that from Jonathon Edwards. he he)

India... We tried to show respect as Canada would wish to be respected. True, we took advantage of an opportunity afforded by Argentina who was then occupying India. Given the promise of the US to keep us wiped we chose to AS India to have regions for Congress. Immediately upon landing a dialog was set up with the Indians to explain that we did not wish to be aggressive occupiers. Long story short we made an agreement, it was quickly tossed aside and Canada was prepared to leave. India asked us to stay as we were considered to be a 'friend'. India wanted to find if LETO wanted a NAP so there could be some peace. Efforts were made but failed as India was only interested in LETO compromise, they would not budge. I've seen crazy FA before but India's negotiation was simply "LETO must leave". lol

With them asking again if Canada would stay in India we sort of just left things lay as they were. I repeatedly tried to swap regions around in India so that we could loose Rajasthan to move our Capital home and enjoy the bonuses. India would not discuss. When speaking to LETO SC Andre3567 I mentioned that we still had a problem with moving the Capital. LETO immediately contacted Peru, who was slated to take Uttar Pradesh, which adjoined Rajasthan. It was agreed that Canada would take Uttar, RW Rajasthan for India, retake Rajasthan and RW Uttar. That shuffle would move our Capital and put things as they were before we began.
On India's RL independence day from the UK Canada was expelled from India. With the help of Croatia, Bulgaria and others India found great sport in ousting those they previously called friend. Mocking, taunting and spitting in our face. No order was given to resist. I asked LETO and concerned allies to stand down. India was not worth the effort. We finally had moved our Capital home and were done with the uncooperative Indians. My only regret is that we stayed as long as we did. We'd have left 2 months earlier if we had been asked. For the record I now consider it to be open season on India. When possible Canada will direct her damage to help India's enemies. May India receive the perma wipe she deserves.
Wars Abroad
Chile wanted to get into India, now they are into Australia. The TETAS agreement between Argentina and Chile has really set them free to do a lot of damage. Colombia is having a bit of a problem with Indonesia. Farther north, Montenegro is being attacked. They need help if they're gonna have a Congress.
Our old friend Australia is finally getting some MPP's back now that they are through with the AS into Finland. They are now working toward setting up their home away from home in Norway.
The United States of America
klop and I have had preliminary communication with President dmjohnston and Secretary of State Derphoof. (I think they still call their MoFA the SoS.) We seek to create a more formal relationship with the US.
Since the US has released our regions and the war has been over they have proven to be very good neighbors. Working together on the recent TW has proven the worth of a closer relationship.
Half Way!
With this term half way over, I would invite concerned citizens to post any questions or complaints in the comments. I am interested in hearing what we could do for you.
So far we have:
- Proposed and passed a budget.
- Fixed several issues with LETO. (Thank you andre3567 and Persian Punisher.)
- Kept reasonably current MoD Orders.
- Managed our MPPs.
- Started and stopped the TWs for the all important missions.
- Continued vigilance to maintain our good relationships.

This just in!
France has just announced here that they will be leaving LETO. Kind of came as a surprise to me. Let us find out what's up and we'll pass on anything we find.

I have this album.
It has impressive natural defenses. 10 feet of snow and polar temperatures in the winter and floods and swarms of giant killer mosquitos in summer. About as hard to conquer as Moscow, I figger.
I could argue the same thing for Northern Ontario...minus the floods...but we replace the floods with hills and valleys, plus the fog that accompanies both...gets bad enough that you can almost capture the fog in glass jars and admire the handiwork....just plenty of natural traps and choke points.

Well I accidentally proposed that we have a Mutual Protection Pact with Albania, one of our enemies. Fortunately Congress voted "NO". Then I accidentally declared war on India instead of proposing them a Natural Enemy. The difference being that the NE costs nothing and still starts the war and 'declare war' cost +200 gold. Congress didn't catch that one. Right now I'm waiting for our Comptroller to tell me what my final bill is so I can repay Canada for my mistake.
Other that that I'm pretty okie dokie.

First off, big fan here of Alan Parsons.
Second, as one of the people involved in the negotiation of the NAP between India and Canada, I also wish things had worked out differently and India had permitted Canada to remain in Asia. Canada, in my experience, has always been a good neighbor and once you all had arrived that didn't change. You all maintained communication, paid rent when requested and swapped regions with India when it was time for our Congressional Elections.
It was foolish for India to treat as enemies those who have dealt with them out of respect, especially when that friendship comes in the form of a country whose population far exceeds their own and therefore had the potential to be able to contribute to the defense of their own country to a far greater extent than a country of a population equivalent to their own.
You never embarrass a friend like that. All they had to do was ask us to leave, instead they asked us to stay and set us up like a Mexican piñata for independence day. No honour in that.
If it were up to me, I wouldn't have wanted you all to leave. There are only so many regions that India can maintain on their own. The rest of her core regions are going to be occupied by other countries. Better they are occupied by a good neighbor like Canada than other countries I can think of (e.g. Argentina, Croatia, etc.).
Wipe india.
Actually, this sounds crazy but we want to defend India right now. Bulgaria wants into China through India.

I was just being complete. If you are going to show spelling, you have to include the definition to show that the spelling of the word you are referring to goes along with the meaning of that word.
This is an international game with players from all over the globe. There are a multitude of correct spellings of words. Because a different culture decides to adopt a different spelling, doesn't make it wrong or backwards. Let us try adopting tolerance.
I do not have to include a definition. If someone does not understand basic English it is hardly my fault. If they cared enough, they'd Google it.
This is eCanada. Not the eUS or the eUK but eCanada. And what spelling would you use in eCanada? British spelling?

Furthermore, I think the inventors of the language know the proper spelling. If you don't spell it like they do, it's wrong.
