Where do you come from?
I’m curious to know how far around the world my articles reach. Let me know in the comments what country you are from (in game)!

Epic Warfare
The recent tournament, Epic Warfare has recently come to an end! As we all progressed through the various levels, and gained the extra energy restoration the appetite for food was insatiable! In many markets around the world food prices skyrocketed with some running dry completely. As with all recent tournaments, there was hiccups with the Guerilla warfare after citizens realised that you gained prestige points whether you win or lose. Many therefore decided not to fight, conserving energy and therefore progressing much faster!

WOLF
The most recent alliance created WOLF has recently elected it’s leaders. With their foundations set, WOLF is now actively seeking new countries to join their ranks.

The World is Ours (TWO)
Recently, CoT launched a major worldwide offensive on the alliance TWO, managing to inflict serious damage in America, Southern France, Italy and India. CoT managed to initially have the upperhand in the conflict mainly due to lack of a coordinated response from TWO. Recently however, TWO has elected a new HQ, who have quite a bit of experience under their belt. The new alliance HQ has focused on opening up communication and being slightly more proactive with their plans. TWO has since managed to regain some lost territory.

Albania
Apart from a few minor resistance wars in their conquered regions of Montenegro and India, Albania has been relatively quiet.

Argentina
The campaign against Brazil has been a resounding success for Argentina, with Brazil being wiped entirely from the map. While Brazil has launched a number of Sporadic resistance wars, none of them have proved successful with Argentina easily holding onto their captured territory.

Australia
Australia now faces complete occupation by both Macedonia and Indonesia, two nations with much larger militaries. The government remains actively trying to keep players motivated, however it is a difficult task with the seemingly never ending war with Indonesia.

Belarus
After remaining quiet for sometime and focused on holding onto their few core regions, Belarus launched a surprise attack on Russia. With Russia’s alliance CoT focused on many other theatres around the world, they weren’t able to offer much help. With Russia also fighting against other enemies, Belarus was able to take a number of regions from Russia. Belarus has since focused their attention northward towards Finland and has been successful in securing one territory.

Belgium
The very temporary war started with the United Kingdom has quickly come to a close with the United Kingdom agreeing to return all of Belgium’s territory. Despite being in separate alliances both Belgium and the United Kingdom enjoy quite good relations with each other, so many are labelling the recent war just a bit of fun. Both presidents have signed an official peace treaty which is outlined here.

Bosnia and Herzegovina
After recently losing their home territory to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina since focused their attention on trying to retain their holdings within India. This however proved unsuccessful with India calling in the help of some recently obtained allies to regain some of their territory.

Brazil
With their attention focused on South Africa, Brazil has been unable to organise an effective resistance against the attacks from Argentina. Subsequently, Brazil was removed from the map.

Canada
Canada’s agreement with their former conquerors Spain has now been fully implemented. Canadians are very optimistic after receiving a number of territories back in a peace deal.

China
Things remain relatively calm and stable in China. A few minor resistance wars have started in territory controlled by China, in North Korea, South Korea and Pakistan. China however, it seems will easily retain all these regions.

Colombia
Things have been quiet recently for Colombia after they signed a peace deal with peru. The government has focused their time on strengthening alliances. A minor resistance was was started by Venezuela to regain their lost territory, however it proved unsuccessful and Colombia was able to hold onto it.

Cyprus
The Cypriot congress recently passed a motion removing Cyprus from the alliance Non Aligned Nations. Currently their reasons for doing so are unclear, however with a small number of allies and fragile relations with neighbours on multiple fronts it seems logical that Cyprus may want the security of a larger alliance.

France
Up until recently, Serbia controlled almost the entirety of Southern France (with the North controlled by Poland). However, after negotiations with Russia, France was able to elect a congress by controlling a region deep in Russia’s homeland. After regaining the southern part of their country, France continued the attack on Serbia moving into northern Italy to take some of their holdings there.

Hungary
With their allies distracted in other theatres of operation around the world, Hungary was unable to withstand both an attack from Ukraine and Russia and subsequently lost a number of regions to Ukraine. Their campaign against Russia however, has proved slightly more successful being able to gain a number of territories from them.

India
With their entire continent controlled by Albania, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina for some time, India has been unable to mount a successful defence. That has changed recently, with India’s government recently working on strengthening relations with a number of allies around the world. Making the most of Bosnia and Herzegovina being distracted with an attack on their home soil, India with the assistance of their allies launched an attack to regain a number of territories. This proved successful. India is now cautiously holding onto their recent recaptures, with the government focusing on where to progress to next.

Indonesia
With relatively calm relations with their northern neighbours, Indonesia has for some time been able to focus their attention to the south, towards Australia. They recently conquered all of Australia and then transferred two regions to their allies Macedonia as they didn't require the resources.

Iran
Iran boasts a relatively safe position, bordered by two countries, China and Turkey. With Iran having a mutual protection pact with China, they are able to focus most of their efforts on holding onto their conquests in Pakistan. Turkey rents a few of Iran's regions and the odd resistance war is started to allow citizens to obtain medals.

Ireland
Ireland had a very clear choice with the two major presidential nominees, with one advocating a harsher stance with the United Kingdom and the second instead focusing on peace. As it turns out, the latter won the election and now Ireland’s goal is to help their allies abroad, strengthen diplomatic relations and preserve their shield.

Israel
Israel’s focus has been on strengthening relations with their neighbours. The government is also opening up dialogue with the countries Military Units, hoping this increased engagement will boost activity in the country. They are also encouraging their citizens to look outside eRepublik to help boost their numbers.

Italy
After enjoying initial success in regaining territory lost to Serbia and Slovenia, Italy’s fortunes have started to reverse. They are once again down to a small numbers of provinces and if trends continue, they may be removed from the map again.

Latvia
Recently, Latvia was in a precarious position fighting off attacks on two fronts by Russia and Sweden. The table however have turned, with Russia pushed back Latvia has since been able to focus its attention on Sweden gaining a number of territories.

Lithuania
With Sweden occupied elsewhere, Lithuania made a push into Sweden and conquered a number of territories. Cut off from further conquest with Latvia’s Swedish holdings blocking further attacks, Lithuania has since focused their attention on retaining their holdings.

New Zealand
New Zealand was recently attacked with an airstrike by Macedonia, who won a rather quick victory and continues to occupy New Zealand's regions. A number of resistance wars have been started, however they all have proved unsuccessful.

North Korea
North Korea remain in a challenging position. The country is remarkably small in comparison to it’s neighbours and has been under constant occupation by China for some time. They were however able to regain a congress in the most recent elections, so the government remains optimistic. An underground movement of sorts has started after successful PTO’s were launched against major parties.

Philippines
With the election of a new president and embolden by having a congress, the Philippine government is looking to strengthen international relations. They believe that due to the very few remembers remaining in the alliance of Non Aligned Nations (NaN) they will now actively start seeking an alternative.

Poland
Polands swift attacks throughout most of the USA has been quite successful, starting with just a small swathe of land they have since been able to take the majority of USA’s core territory. In addition to their offensive, they have been able to successfuly quell resistance wars started in other conquered territory in Russia, Germany, Netherlands and France with no country able to claim even a minor victory.

Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)
Unable to permanently remove the Greeks from their territory, Macedonia set their sights on other parts of the world. They first started with new Zealand, conquering them in their entirety and conquered a few regions from Australia (which were formerly under Indonesian control). They are holding onto those territories quite comfortably, successfully stopping any resistance wars that pop up.

Russia
After enjoying initial successes in their war against Latvia, Russia soon found itself fighting on multiple fronts, unable to cope. They have since lost territory to Hungary, Belarus and Ukraine.

Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s recent attacks from Greek, Israel and Turkey have left it in a weak and vulnerable position. They have started a number of resistance wars to regain lost territory, however all have been unsuccessful.

Ukraine
A short time ago, hostilities opened between Ukraine and Hungary. Quickly, both nations declared each other natural enemies. Hungary, however was also fighting with Russia and was unable to withstand the attack and lost a number of territories. Both Ukraine and Hungary have opened negotiations, which have bought hostilities to an end. Negotiations are now under way to return lost territory, with Poland & Spain acting as guarantors.

United Kingdom
The war with United Kingdom and Belgium is pretty much over. United Kingdom managed to control all of Belgium’s regions with relative ease. Since occupying Belgium however, the United Kingdom’s government has decided they don’t want a permanent occupation and will be returning the conquered territory. However, this isn’t filtering through to the general public and Belgium hasn’t managed to win the resistance wars despite signing an official peace treaty.

USA
With the help of Mexico, the USA was able to successfully remove Serbia entirely from the America’s. However, that has since left them with too much territory to defend and they have subsequently lost a large portion of that territory to Poland, who now controls large swathes of the United States.
