Day 2,691, 12:26 Published in Ireland Ireland by micutzu

Hello my dear friends, subscribers, fellows, mates and enemies!

These days I find a good reason for why I should join next days this game, because it has some bugs, it could suffer a good facelift and a good game-design improvement. And of course, to mention that it's more cool to have a fcukin' reward medal after complete a quests series, ehm, but this is another topic.

As I said in the title, these days in eIreland (and in the whole eWorld, why not?!) rise a question: What is democracy?

Democracy is "a system of government in which all the people of a state or polity ... are involved in making decisions about its affairs, typically by voting to elect representatives to a parliament or similar assembly."[1] Democracy is further defined as (a🙂 "government by the people; especially : rule of the majority (b🙂 " a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections."[2] According to American political scientist Larry Diamond, it consists of four key elements: "1. A political system for choosing and replacing the government through free and fair elections. 2. The active participation of the people, as citizens, in politics and civic life. 3. Protection of the human rights of all citizens. 4. A rule of law, in which the laws and procedures apply equally to all citizens".[3]

You've just read 2 good definitions of democracy. But what is the most important facts of democracy?
I tell you: democracy gives us the freedom to have our chance to say, to act and to thing even is pro, even is against the majority, gives us to freedom to choose how future will be as a consequence of our decisions.

If someone asks me if I can describe the eIreland in ONE word and which one will be, I tell: DEMOCRACY. eIreland is a democratic ecountry since CS wasn't implemented yet and this is how it must remain.
So don't let be fooled and thing again. We must learn to work, fight and dream together!

Hail Democracy! Hail eIreland! Be free!
