Times Change

Greetings eUSA, it has been a while. As always, a bit of mood music:

Over my many years on and off playing this game, with varying levels of activity one constant has remained. Jobs change, wars, alliances, if we are wiped or not. But one thing about my time in eRepublik remained a constant, being a member of the USWP. Aside from a very short stint with the Feds when I started, USWP was my home in eRepublik for years. Having been in congress with USWP many times, and delegate far more, I always took pride in working in a party with some of the wisest leadership in the game. But, while some things don't change, like war. Other things do.

People come and go from this game, some stars shine brightly and others dim out. What once was may one day be again, and like the currents of the ocean things are always changing. At some point you have to look down and see where you are at, sometimes you find that you have been pulled into a riptide far out to an empty sea. What does one do in that situation? Well you can either float in the ocean, sink to the bottom, or start swimming. I decided to start swimming.

After years of working with USWP I have had the recent pleasure of calling the Rough Riders my new home. I was reached out some time ago about getting involved with a new party and I sat on that invitation for some time. I had to take some significant time to mull it over, the thought of leaving my party, the USWP; it wasn't easy. But here I am, I took a leap of faith, into something new and folks I have to be honest.

I am having a great time.

This is not an official recruitment posting for the Rough Riders, in fact this is really a long overdue announcement of my decision to join with a dash of praise. The programs run by the Rough Riders are outstanding, and the level of activity in the party is next level. If you want to be a part of the movers and shakers of eRepublik I would highly suggest giving the Rough Riders are try, and if you want to try something new like I did, all the more reason to join.
