The spectacular news of the BEP – But who cares?

Day 848, 08:08 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Humphrey Appleby
The British Empire party finally serves their purpose in eUK politics, by providing entertainment

If you want to avoid the actual article and just drool at a picture of Kiera Knightley; scroll down 😮

I don’t doubt that I was one of the many that logged on yesterday afternoon to find the eUK media NOT ablaze with articles condemning the TUP and UKRP of a suspected PTO. All in all, the “true” BEP members managed to scrap together a couple of votes for their two articles, each of which condemning probably the most realistic PP election in BEP’s short history, and each of which claiming that they’re the “true independent political voice in Britain”.

Like the 99.99% of readers, I lol’d and subscribed for entertainment.

It genuinely reminds me a bit of those right-wing lunatics that hang around Parliament every so often, harassing Politian’s to try and invade Bolivia or something. It’d be pretty epic nonetheless. It sparks a true question in our ever-fruitful British politics – what the hell do they stand for? The reinvasion of the non-existent Falkland’s? The mandatory requirement of saluting King Jeremy Clarkson I every morning? Growing moustaches that’d put Lord Kitchener to shame?

Who are the BEP? Why do they want an Empire when we only just got our Islands back?

Because they don’t know how British politics work, and genuinely believe that our militaristic capabilities can retake the empire – most of which doesn’t even turn up on the eMap. UKRP already serves the purpose of realistically representing the right wing of British politics in the House of Commons and Government, what then is the true purpose of the BEP? To be PTO’d at the people’s desire? I seriously makes me wonder if the whole thing wasn’t just a publicity stunt.

Are they just a bunch of middle class people who think that bus lanes should be removed because it allows poorer people to get to work before them?
