The Case For . . . Avatars and Analogies
Is eUSA just a name or is representative, as a team, of a proud nation? Why would our team builders choose to identify with that great country? I've had some feedback that seems to indicate disenchantment with the idea of national greatness.
Our numbers may be few, but solidarity is what make us strong! We are 10th in national rankings with a country power just over 1000. We can do better!
And your avatar - why did you choose what you chose? It's interesting to see the innuendos that may exist, or for some, the sanitized play on names that don't lead imagination anywhere. My avatar is a proud soldier as Chesty Puller would represent, yet the "Toy World" caricature lends allegiance back to our game environment.
Identity with a team and acceptance of the representation of a proud nation can help us to be inspired. Just as the real USA is the leader of the world today, so should the eUSA be the leader of eRepublik. Even the right avatar can spark new emotion.
eChesty said it, and eChesty meant it! What say you?

Chose the avatar because the character is pretty easy going but still gets shit done.
Though I later learned I wasn't the only one; http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1736482, I still don't want to part with it.
Now that's what I'm talking about! Soldier on, warrior!
My avatar is the fearless and patriotic Commander Coleman Stryker - Cygnar Warcaster from the Warmachine tabletop game universe.
