Shout and Scream!!!!
aJollyOldChap
Seen as I am a senator I thought I should create a place where people can shout and scream about what they want to see change in regards to laws and society. So if you want something changed or your just generally angry about something please feel free to rant about it in the comments. As your senator please feel free to get in contact with me as I am here to better eAustralia and make sure your views are listened to. This is the 1st edition of shout and scream and please give me feedback about what you think of the idea as your opinion counts.

I think you should shout everyone an icecream.
I think discussions before clicking a new proposal is worthwhile. The new law of minimum wage actually has some very big impacts to the community that could see us creating more issues rather than fix anything
I know it's a lot of work but would like to see more education articles. I'm still a very new player and struggle in understanding many of this games mechanics. I've stayed here because I like the people and feel from eAus but it's quite daunting for a new player to try learn the game and become a part of the community. Even knowing a few people we can reach out to if we have questions. I don't think I'm the only one in this situation and bringing new blood into eAus would be nice.
I totally agree with you and I will get in touch with government about your idea. Is there anything pacific that you don't really know about or want more knowledge of?? And if you've ever got any questions you can ask me or any senator or anyone in government.
I voted "NO" on the minimum wage increase. The only citizens this will effect is commune owners/workers and tax dodgers, and it will be adversely. If this passes it will make eAustralia a less attractive place for business. Anyone who works a regular job typically chooses the highest paying job anyway. To be frank, if your getting paid 1cc (assuming your not compensated any other way) its your own damn fault.
Also with the new rss allotments and changes to companies. Having a lower min wage will actually help encourage communes to set up shop here which will benefit eAustralia in the long run.
My thinking was that if we had a higher minimum wage then wages across the country might be driven up and therefore more people would want to come here to live and work so then businesses will want to come here to employ those workers
Higher wages push the sell price higher, we have just gotten our market to a reasonable selling rate comparable to the rest of the world.
Higher wages also push communes overseas eventually the MU could be based elsewhere.
The government has a running thread every month that senators can be involved in to discuss or make suggestions if they choose. A new thread will be made by the standing CP soon.
Please discuss with other Senators before you waste your Proposals. There are often reasons we have laws the way they are set up, mate. 🙂
Why is there not a healthy Sheila on my lap and a Victoria Bitter in my hand?
Govt is not doing it's damn job!
