Hello I have been selected as the new Constitutional dictator of Saudi Arabia.

The point of this article is to inform you of what will be happening during my administration as Dictator. Below is my manifesto for the upcoming month.



Regular Updates
I believe that it is the duty of the Dictator is to keep the country updated and informed. That is why under my administration I will be publishing weekly articles to inform citizens of what the cabinet has been doing.

Activity
A Dictator needs to be active and if elected I will continue to spend large amount of time on the game working for Saudi Arabia. Already I have proven to be one of the most active players in Saudi Arabia and if elected my activity will increase.

Accessibility
If you have any questions about my policies then just ask. I pledge to answer all questions asked. No matter who you are if you are a citizen in Saudi Arabia you have the democratic right to question your Constitutional Dictator on his actions.

Cabinet Ministers
My cabinet this Term will be as below. I have not assigned any deputies/Officers because each Minister will appoint their own deputy. There's no restriction on who they chose as long as they are a citizen of Saudi Arabia and not on the Blacklist.

HOME AFFAIRS

Article Guides
The Minister of Home affairs will be responsible for publishing regular articles and guides to help new citizens with learning the game mechanics.

Saudi Arabia eUniversity
This University will be done by helping new players with any questions that they have about the game. The Minister of Home Affairs will seek to educate new players on a one to one basis. If there is enough need then a mentor program will be established.

National Health Service
New citizens will be able to apply for free food under the National Health Service, any player under level 30 will be entitled to free food to help them start playing erepublik. More details will be drawn up shortly.




DEFENCE

Build a Nationalised Commune
I feel we should have a government ran commune system available for citizens of Saudi Arabia. The Commune will mean citizens can work in a weapons factory (Q7) and receive the weapons they earn. This will provide citizens of Saudi Arabia with decent weapons to fight for Saudi and her allies.

International Joint Strikes
As a nation we should work with our allies and perform joint Strikes. The way these strikes work is by supplying weapons to anyone from Saudi or the agreed ally nations to fight in a specific battle. This not only provides large amounts of damage but helps to build better relationships with our allies.

Better MU Co-ordination
We Should create a mass Message containing all the Military Commanders. This mass message will be where the Minister of Defence communicates where Saudi Military Units should be fighting. This mass message will ensure that Saudi forces are fighting together effectively.

National Military Group
We created something like this a while ago but I intend to push it more. This will run alongside the MU co-ordination message and the daily orders by the Minister of Defence. Any Military Unit that follows official orders will be included in the Group and promoted as official MU's. Members of unofficial Military Units will not be allowed to the benefits that National Military Group members will have.



FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Open a dialogue with our Neighbours
We need to be actively engaging with all of the nations that we border. It is crucial for planning congress and working together that we have an open dialogue in which we can discuss and negotiate.

Build new allies
I am sure it is clear to many people that Saudi Arabia has for a long time been a solitary and isolated nation. Well we do have friends in other nations and we need to start working closely with these nations to better strengthen our links. This does not necessarily mean joining any formal alliances just cooperating more with nations across the eWorld.

Ambassador Program
We need to encourage more players Particularly new players to get involved in government. The ambassador programme will give new players a chance to work in the government representing their country and helping build ties with other nations.



FINANCE

Write the Budget
This is a new role for Saudi Arabia but during my Term in office I will be spending money on schemes and projects. It is crucial that someone monitors our income and expenditure and draws up a budget of how much we as a country can afford to spend this term. It will then be the Minister of Finances job to help me to stick to the budget.

Records
The Minister of Finance will also be responsible for keeping records regarding income via taxation and expenditure. By keeping detailed records of our finances we will be in a stronger position to plan for our future.

Loans
Currently We have lots of money sitting in our government accounts. Under my administration we will lend money out to trusted individuals in order for them to grow their economic independence. these can also be loans for training ground updates which will increase our players strength and raise us some money.




LEGISLATION AND CONGRESS

Report all multi accounts
This is crucial because Saudi Arabia is limited to only one political party, this means that we are more likely to be PTO'ed. To help combat this the MoLA should always be on the look out and reporting multi accounts.

Manage the PP elections
Now reporting multi accounts will help make the PP elections run smoothly however we also need a candidate selected well before the closing date. The MoLA will be responsible for finding a reliable Party President and managing his election campaign.

Congress Reforms
Currently in Saudi Arabia congress does nothing, I believe this is wrong. The MoLA will be responsible for Reforming Congress and making it more involved in decision making. At present I have a few ideas on how we can reform congress however we must approach this issue slowly. We need to make sure that the systems we put in place are well thought out and ensure that congress becomes more active. This system will include congress electing a leader of Congress.
