Join the new world

Hello this is my first article of The Best Times. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a great and joyful Christmas as well as a safe one.

It seems the times have changed with the words Merry Christmas have been replaced with Happy Holidays. And Christmas being shortened by x-mas. People who call it happy holidays say they are political correct and aren't offending anyone with a different religion. Well they must have forgot about Catholic people like me who find it very disrespectful to not call it what it really is. If you don't believe in Jesus or whatever thats fine as this is a free country so far and you have your own religious rights but don't say happy holidays to me I would rather hear nothing at all then. Same goes for x-mas which I sometimes think is taking Christ out of Christmas.

(I don't want to annoy anyone and sorry if I am rambling on)

Please remember the reason for the season and enjoy it and celebrate it. It isn't about presents and ipods and video games and what not but about Christ our savior being born.

So be good and behave yourself because someone is always watching!
