Is Democracy failing?

Yes it is. Why? Because Democracy is becoming the Autocracy of the modern Era, a safe way for so called Champions of Human Rights to force down their ideas of society on the masses.

If we are to enter into the 21st Century in hopes of a peaceful world we need to come together and draw up a new form of government able to grant us our social and economic needs to progress.

This article could do with a bit of expanding.
How is democracy becoming the autocracy of the modern era?

What form of government would you prefer? One that doesn't force their ideas of society on the masses I gather, but what might that be in your opinion.
