Introducing the Black Market
Hello I have an incredible new service to offer you!
The Problem:
Currently we are subject to taxes that take a lot of our money, some even as high as 15%!!! However, there is a better way and that way is through us. The purpose here is to save you money of course and we achieve this by buying and selling your products where we act as a third party. The current rate for food, weapons, and houses is 5% in USA and 15% for moving tickets this might not sound like much to some but it adds up. Also Houses at the moment are unable to be donated. However, when they introduced houses they did say that donating houses could be a possibility in the future, so if that happens I will be adding those. Now these tax rates hurt both the buyer and seller. The seller loses 5% of the value while the buyer pays a higher price because of it. Often times you will see people spamming feeds to try and buy or sell big amounts of tanks. But this is risky as you don’t know if you can trust them. This is why we created a better black market.
For example:
1000 q7 tanks @ 6.44cc =6440cc but 5% for the gov =322cc in taxes
or
100 q1 moving tickets @ 21.92cc =2192cc but 15% for the gov =328.8cc in taxes
So as you can see you are paying a hefty sum just to trade resources with each other.
Our Solution:
The proposed system has two main features
When you find someone who you wish to buy/sell tanks with you will send me a message stating the following for example
I should get a message from both the buyer and seller that have agreed on terms. Here is my Profile link>>>http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/5593648 The messages should look like this:
Player A: Hello, I am selling 1000 q7 tanks to Player B for a total of 6200cc
and
Player B: Hello, I am buying 1000 q7 tanks from Player A for a total of 6200cc
After I receive these messages I will then reply to confirm the order and also state how much money to send me. To start I will be charging a service charge rate of 0.5% of the total value. That is only a half of a percent of the value which is much less than 5% isn’t it? This charge is applied to the seller only. So in our example it will look like this:
Okay Player A you can send me 1000 q7 tanks with 31cc and I will send you 6200cc when I receive it. If you agree to these terms then send the items.
Okay Player B you can send me 6200cc and I will send you 1000 q7 tanks when I receive them. If you agree to these terms then send the items.
So you see you are guaranteed safety from scams since I will only send the items when I receive from both parties. If one player doesn’t send the necessary items within 24 hours I will send you back all you have given me. Also on my part if I don’t make the trade within 24 hours of receiving from both parties I will make the trade free of charge and send back any refund you deserve. However, I am very active in this game so I am on everyday and usually many times throughout the day.
As I said before this system has two main main features and the second one I will tell you about now will be introduced at a later time. This second feature will allow you to buy and sell products in an easier way. Instead of trying to find a buyer or seller you will instead just message me about how many products you wish to buy/sell and at what price. I will take all these offers and make a spreadsheet available for everyone to see. If this business grows a lot I will build a website making it even easier to use. This is a good idea. I had thought of doing this before but was afraid of receiving money or items that were created with a multi and ultimately getting banned.

This is a good point and something I will look into further. Some things I could do would be to limit it to only players level 25 or higher. Any suspicious activity I could try and stop. But maybe this could be used for good as well. I could get good at spotting multis and report them and this could actually help the game more. But yes there is some risk

Traditionaly the government would crush the black market but since this is a game and the government can just say they domt like it and send hate mail there is no consequences so why hide it 😛
I have to say tax avoidance schemes are bad in my opinion. if you do not like the taxes run for congress! get your friends to play erepublic and get yourself elected!
the black sheep party would be more than willing to run you for congress if you had a good opinion and willing to do the work!
Since BSP and others have spent months trying to get taxes lowered, I see this as a nice way to avoid those taxes; maybe if tax revenue falls to nothing or very little the government will be forced to lower taxes.
" tax avoidance schemes are bad" -therefore I would assume you also hate communes? Communes avoid the employment taxes that normal employers pay.
I am not doing this because I hate the government, although I do. I came up with the idea to make a little money and save others money as well. Also I saw the opportunity and I took it. We have been trying to lower taxes for awhile now. I could run and give them my opinion but that won't change anything maybe this will though. There is more than one way to go about things.
