How Many Energy Bars to Finish Spring Hunt?

Day 2,345, 17:52 Published in USA USA by Whiskey Jack

T-error asked in the EZC shout feed if it is possible to finish Spring Hunt without energy bars. I suspected that it is not possible, but I decided to do the math to prove it. Here are my starting assumptions:

1. You will have all of the possible energy centers, which give you 1400 energy capacity.

2. You will start with full energy, and are 140 xp away from leveling up at the beginning of the contest.

3. You are willing to make use of every possible energy refill for fighting over the next 7 days. No training & no working.

4. You have the minimum number of bazookas (3,334 lol) required to get one hit kills up to 10,000 prestige points in order to maximize your carrot gains, and are only using bazookas. You don't care about how much damage you do, just gaining prestige points (pp from here on).

5. You bought the energy pack, and have 30 energy refill per 6 minutes at the beginning of the fight. For simplicity I am just going to bump that to 40 per 6 minutes, because you will be getting the additional 10 per 6 minutes during the course of the contest.

6. You are D4 for the purposes of the weekly rewards.

Alright, here we go. So you start fighting with your 1400 x 2 energy at 00:00 erep time day 2345. This gets you 280 pp. You also gain a level up after your first 140 fights, gaining you a full energy refill for another 140 pp. We're up to 420 pp so far. Now you sit at your computer and slog it out for the next 7 days. Over the next 7 days you have a maximum of 7 days x 24 hours x 10 refills per hour x 40 energy per refill for a grand total of 67200 energy gained. 10 energy per kill gets us another 6720 kills/pp. We're up to 7140 pp.
Plus we gain another level up for 140 more pp. 7280 pp from food fights & leveling so far.

Now we figure in the carrots. We get 1 carrot per 25 kills. We've gotten 7280 kills so far (my mouse clickan finger hurts), and we divide that by 25 for a total of 291.2 carrots, so we'll be generous and round that up to 292. Multiply that by 5 kills per carrot for another 1460 kills/pp. We are also gaining carrots while using them so we divide 1460 by 25 for another 58.4 carrots. Rounding up again (because Plato loves us), we get 59 carrots, multiplied by 5 kills for another 295 kills/pp. Rinse and repeat for another 11.8 (12) carrots, 12 x 5 = another 60 kills/pp. We gain another 2 carrots, 10 more kills pp. We've leveled up again during all of this for 140 kills/pp, plus 7 more carrots (carrying over some kills) for another 35 kills/pp.

Our grand total is: 7280 + 1460 + 295 + 60 + 10 + 140 + 35. 9280 pp. But we have also gotten some eb from the missions and the rewards bar. We have been moving around while getting our kills, so we have met all of the mission requirements. Our grand total from the missions: 14 eb. 140 kills/pp, plus another 7 (again, Plato loves us) carrots for 35 more. Adding 175 pp to our total, making it 9455 pp. Now for the weekly rewards. Looking over the list, we have gotten another 30 energy bars so far. 300 more kills/pp, plus another 15 carrots (including carrots gotten while using carrots), for a total of 360 more. Our grand total: 9815 pp. Not quite there. So 10,000 - 9,815 = 185 more kills needed. Figuring in some carrots gained, we would need about 15 more eb.

So there you have it. If someone else comes up with a solution that gets us to the 10k pp without using any stored/bought eb's, please leave a comment with your solution. I will give 10g to the first better solution for your ingenuity/superior math skills.

TL😉R - you need 15 energy bars AT A MINIMUM to get 10k prestige points.

P.S.: Keep in mind that I am being overly generous here. I did not figure in the 30 per 6 minute energy gain up to 1000 pp., and I think I gave 1 level up too many.
