Dictators Cabinet and Council

Its time I officially released how the Canadian Govt will be operating moving forward.

I will have a personal Dictators Cabinet made up of the usual suspects. Long time govt officials and experienced players to offer advice when required. Main tasks will be Foreign affairs, Warfare and National Finances. Basically a regular CP's cabinet

On the other hand I will also have an official Dictators Council made up of the PP's of the top 5 parties as well as the Leaders of the top 5 MU's. They will be called upon to debate and vote on sensitive issues I feel are unfair for myself alone to make. There word is final.

Its basically a Congress cut down to size containing the most active of main Canadian institutions. A nice blend of politicians and war leaders.

Foreign Affairs
Will be mostly handled by our ever present Klop. Xander Kross may also be called upon to help depending on Klops availability.

Finances
As usual Bryan Alexander will handle and hold saved up CO tax money. I don't plan on letting it sit inside the in game countries coffers as a carrot to would be foreign attackers. Aries prime will also be kicking around to advise on finacial matters.

Military

Xichael will maintain his position as Minister of War with Exalted Druid being chief military advisor.

Minister of Re-education
Xander Kross of course, was there ever a doubt this wouldn't be back.

General Advisors
Rounding out the staff will be Dill, IBB and Muglack.

As this number creates a chance for ties I will not vote in discussions. I'll just mediate and offer my input and opinions. The council members will be reviewed at the beginning of the month to represent shifts in the nations power.



Council Business

I didn't waste any time putting the newly formed council to work. There is alot of discussion on the topic of the govt paying out congressmen 5 gold in cc after each election, so I was willing to let them decide its fate.

All members of the council took part in the debate and all were against. The main reason given was if there not actually doing anything then they shouldn't be paid. Paying congressmen to sit on there collective behinds promotes bad behavior and laziness that could affect us later down the road when we return to democracy.

Well there you have it. The councils word is final and as I have no job for congress for the time being there payment I suggested is cancelled. All Govt funds will go towards a defensive budget and MPP's.

I am of course open to suggestions on finding congressmen a job to do. Until then I think the council can do the job nicely.
