Personally, I like the idea of a higher minimum wage and an NE with eUK.

A higher minimum wage would bring new blood to eCanada and increase tax revenue. Sure, things would get more expensive in the short run but it might be the kick to the economy's ass that it needs. A war with eUK would spill more new blood in eUK and drive demand for weapons and food. Garry Carter has this shit figured out and the rest of us are pissing and moaning about who gets to be pretend dictator or why rylde is such a burden on his poor mother.

At any rate - Congress. Take the lead of an unbiased voice. Here you have a guy who isn't influenced by the bullshit. He simply wants a better eCanada and isn't afraid of the sky falling. Why? Because the game is smarter than us. Raise minimum wage and prices for goods increase. Fight a battle with eUK and demand increases. Do both and the eCanadian community, both for and against, will be more involved then under the reign of his majesty, Le Seigneur de la Sous-sol de sa mère!

Depends largely on your definition of "good"

Minimum wage needs to remain low to ensure smooth operation of MU communes. Unilateral war with UK is undesirable because we don't have a ton of money and are vulnerable to being coup'd. If you or Mr. Carter had a few hundred thousand CAD kicking around, we might be able to win a battle or two 😛

I must also remind you that Congress has made us unilaterally continue a war with UK in the past and overruled the executive's decision to end the war. We ended up being occupied for quite a while in an absolutely embarrassing and costly collapse. Just because you're bored isn't an excuse for being reckless. We need money and allied support to prosecute a war and win. We have the allied support, but we lack the money. Congress is currently discussing new revenue generation tools on the forums, so perhaps that is a good place to start instead of rogue proposals 🙂

Actually, I can't remember where, but a country tried the higher minimum wage for (I believe) a month. The actual top pay came down and revenue from taxes fell because the MUs quit working their communes in protest.
