Our first Crimson Devil is LionEl’ Johnson with his trusty offsider the “Chain of Command”, he is known as The Executive Commander of the Crimson Devils, military rank Commander** and the integral spigot that the Devils pivot from.

LionEl’Johnson started playing eRepublik as an Australian in December 17th 2009, but after just one month joined TCO's Australian Division, The Crimson Devils. He quickly rose within TCO to Commander to coordinate The Devils.

He has been a proud member and supporter of The Crimson Devils ever since. As much as most soldiers believe he sits upon his golden throne in the executive’s suite, this is not the case. He assists with running Devils companies, supplying soldiers, coordinating attacks and many other aspects that most others do not want to take on.

What do you like most about eAussie? What could be improved there?

-Being my own country in real life I was always going to love eAustralia but I guess what I love most about it is the sheer excitement of eliving here. It's in no way a boring country, from the PTO and the invasions that we have, as a nation, strived to, and successfully overcome, to the shifting alliances and the eIncarnation of the ANZACs as we fought by New Zealand's side against Chile. A truly proud moment.
As to improvement I would have to say that will hopefully come in time. As our country recovers from its ravages I only hope with strong united leadership that our economy will right itself and it can get back the strong and formidable country I was eborn in.

What keeps you involved with the Devils?

-Once a Crimson, always a Crimson. I have a great bunch of guys in the Devils and I'm honoured to serve with each and every one of them. I also wish to see the Devils one day become a formidable force, rivals to the Canucks if possible. I don't think I shall separate myself from the Devils before then, if ever.

How did your “Chain of Command” come about? Who do you believe needs the “Chain of Command” more often with-in the group?

-I got the Chain of Command off a quote a good friend of mine posted on his facebook. I must've laughed at it for five minutes straight before adopting it in eRepublik.

Lion's "Chain of Command"

I don't know who really needs it more within the group although many of my officers are quite insolent... Blackmyst tends to enjoy it the most I think though. He's on daily floggings now, and I believe after today's 100 lashes he turned to me and said "Is that it? I was just beginning to enjoy myself."

How did you come to play Erepublik?

-I saw an ad for eRep on an online forum for Medieval II: Total War. After spending half a day trying to fix the bugs in that game I gave up and clicked on the ad. It took me to a much more social and enthralling game. I've been on almost everyday since December '09

We hear of many stories about drunken escapades in Erepublik, tell us one of yours.

-Well in real life I only turned 18 last December so I don't have the wealth of experience that someone like Homer J Simpson or TemujinBC would have. One thing I did though, very drunkenly at a mate's 18th was have a very serious conversation with a palm tree, spending a good deal of time trying to convince it to join the Crimson Devils. I offered it free weapons and food but it seemed unmoved unfortunately.

Oh and how Lion El'Jonson can talk your ear off!!

Is there an achievement or goal you reached in the game that you were proud of?

-Becoming Commander of the Crimson Devils has undoubtedly been my most proud achievement. Working through the ranks of the Devils has been the reason I have stayed in eRep. TCO in general are a great bunch of people and I would have to say without them I would probably have quit eRepublik long ago.

Do you see yourself as staying long term in the game?

-Yes, as long as TCO survives I will play. As I said they have been the main reason I have stayed and I strongly urge anyone who feels like they are going to quit eRep or need a purpose for their eLife to see what we are about. I promise you won't be disappointed.

What improvements in-game do you see could be made for a more user friendly game?

-I think the game is reverting to the way it was always supposed to be. As things become simpler from the monstrously overcomplicated V2 we begin to see a prettier version of V1, the game that I and probably many of you out there loved to play from the start.

Is there anything else you would like to add before we finish off?

-Not really, although hopefully this article will give some an insight into who I am behind the avatar of the Lion and the Commander. Thank you Guagature.
