I'll keep it short, there is not much to say. Aaron Mark Daniels was the only person who contacted me about support, a vote was held, the options were him or "Free vote". Not many people decided to participate, at the end "Free vote" got 8 votes and Aaron Mark Daniels got 0.

So therte you go, when the elections come, vote for whom you think is the best choice for our country or just don't vote, the choice is yours o7

UKPP have always voted as "Free Vote".... Anyone we support is more of a guide to the two clickers as to whom the more active people think is best.

The vote can be interpreted in two ways, and I think it's reasonable to sat the latter is what is actually happening.

1.AMD isn't really worth backing, oh my god if only we had more options.

2.We like voting ourselves and not feeling corralled.

As you state you don't enforce a vote anyway - that it's guidance for two clickers (we do exactly the same). I feel you've posed the wrong question in your vote. As it was always free vote for members, it should have been:

"Do we wish to support AMD as party-backed candidate?" The way questions are worded as a massive impact on the answer. In this case I reckon it was an accident, sure you had the best intentions of asking people what they wanted.

Whatever. This was always the format since I was in the party, with every PP who organised a vote, as options you have people's names (depends how many are considered for support) and free vote (which is basically a differently said "none of the above, we don't officially support any of those people") and members exactly know what are they voting, vast majority has been in the party longer than me.

Also, here's a copy-paste how the options were presented in the group messages:

2. Free vote (this meaning we aren't supporting anyone officially and you can vote for whom you think is the best choice)
