[TDK] America is Epik.
Nastoor
Citizens of the eUSA,
As you may have noticed some nefarious planning went on in the eUSA last week to provide our citizens with a battle of Epic proportions.
We started Tuesday off with a Resistance War in Hamgyong, which turned epic in D4, providing our citizens with 40 cc/million Combat Orders, 2x Prestige Points and True Patriot damage.
Win-Win for everyone.
Unfortunately, there was a slight mix-up due to lack of communication between us and the Hungarians, resulting in 2 epic battles at the same time. Nothing too serious, it just took us a bit longer to turn the battle epic.
I saw a lot of Americans fighting. I say mission accomplished.
😉
😉
😉
1:29 into the battle, the wall flipped, providing us with an additional 30 minutes of epic warfare, for a total of 1:30 of epic battle.
This display begs the question; Why stop now?
There is no reason why we should not keep this up next week. And the week after. And the week after. For information on why exactly we need to do this, please check this or this out.
Are you an American citizen who profited from this battle? Are you someone who fought there and took advantage of the CO, or gained $$ from the True Patriot medals? Would you like to see this happen again?
If you answered Yes to any of the above questions, it is your duty to support the cause.
And here is what you should do:
1 - Comment below whether or not you fought in the battle and made some $$(via TP and/or CO) in the process.
This step is optional, but it helps to show support.
2 - Loosen your wallets. Look around for spare change. This battle was funded by me. The next one should be funded by us.
This is mandatory.
3 - After finding said change, donate it here. This leads to the profile link of our Secretary of Defense, Senryaku. This will show support for the endeavor and would help to lighten the burden of the expenses on our government.
😁
This is as mandatory as it gets.
I believe in change.
The epic battle can be funded in many ways, but the following in my opinion is the easiest/most comfortable method.
USAF should be shut down and the funds redirected, preferably to an epic battle instead. eUSA is the only country in the eWorld that runs a national commune system now. I think we should realize that communes are a thing of the past and move on. Once the pinnacle of ideas and efficiency, we should not spend another penny on a program that burdens the taxpayer 80,000 USD/week and provides a meager amount of weapons, which are affordable for most.
You can analyze the current USAF supply tiers here yourself; But I'll comment on the highest supply tier available:
Divison 4 - Elite (Level 101 and up)
3 Drops of 30 Tanks
This is the highest supply tier. Most Division 4 elites, or the ones I know of, are self-sufficient and can afford 90 tanks. I see no reason in continuing with a program when better alternatives are available.
This is where USAF stands now:
Once a group of Gods amongst men, eRepublik mechanisms have now virtually killed the unit, as we can see by the amount of damage. And damage is all that matters in the game. I propose to put those funds to good use and give the citizens what they want.
Government of the eUSA,
The ball is in your court. Where will you go from here? ^_~
Thank you for reading,
Yours,
The DarkKnight Rises.

Hmm... I think I'll start.
You have successfully donated 10000 USD. If the user accepts, the amount will appear shortly in the citizen account.
😁
TO EPICS, AND BEYOND!

Baaaaaaa \o/
Do this every day not just Tuesday 😛
"Once a group of Gods amongst men, eRepublik mechanisms have now virtually killed the unit"
> eRep mechanisms

Btw, they don't know what to do with the ball, they don't know proper sports that in include balls. The phrase does not help you here.
You lost to North Korea, good work.
Only in murika is losing epic D4 against north korea considered a success

great job o/
I still fail to see the correlation between having a national MU and funding epics for D4.
USAF just sucks in terms of damage, that's all.
Yeah because it's all about damage output. Check where your buddies have been fighting lately..

And the list goes on...
Just lately?
Bit more than that.
Well, attract players so you can control them as it fits your needs. 😁 Also why would I bother spending a ticket just to fight on the right side when the battle's outcome is determined anyways when epic.
The point is, if USAF is gone and those members would move to War Inc, we'd lose more damage on the side of the US + allies.
That is probably true, yeah. And since I don't have eUS citizenship, you also don't need to create artificial epics for me as long as Hungary does it, so USAF can stay, I don't mind.
I see some confusion here. Allow me to clear that up. 😁
1- It was a suggestion on how to raise funds to have epics again and again. If we can find donors, well and good. If not, there's a suggestion on what to do. ^___^
2- I didn't suggest shutting down the MU in itself. I suggested stopping the supply program to redirect funds.
3- This is actually most beneficial for the average D4 citizen, not the tanks. The true tanks don't care about double prestige points. This is for citizens who save up and try to play economically.
Government intervention here isn't necessary either. Private parties with the necessary funding and government approval can do this, as I've managed to do. But it is surely recommended due to aforementioned reasoning. 🙂
And what with the D1, D2 and D3 citizens?
Nope. Average D4 citizens dont sit around for a planned epic battle and burn an incredible ton of bars to hit 5k/10k PP straight away.
You're barely in the USA and now think you know best. You may be able to tank hard and I salute you for it, but this idea is complete nonsense so far. The argument that other countries create epics is all the more reason to not sink our own treasury into creating epics. That amount of CC coming from TP medals going into the pocket of already rich tanks will hardly trickle down back into taxes.
Funding epic battles is catering to the already super rich at the expense of everyone else.
"Government of the eUSA,
The ball is in your court. Where will you go from here? ^_~"
Certainly not going to repeat what you did, that's for sure.
Not sure if I was there or not, but I did see quite a few epic battles last week.
How to save the dead game from which people are leaving?
Put more CO for D4 to make Epic battles!
Baby-boom guaranteed.
Sounds legit

I'm one of those "already rich tanks" and I find it interesting that somehow the wants and needs of us "already super rich" are somehow not worthy of any consideration. But let's crunch some numbers, shall we?
I'm paying around 400cc/day in work tax for my manager work. (I'm not counting the taxes due to my working for someone else, I never see that money). I also employ workers and provide between a hundred and two hundred salaries a day. At 65cc/shift and averaging 150/shifts per day, that's 780cc/day in work tax to the government and 8970cc going to the employees. The selling of each day's products adds the VAT tax, which only adds up to about 150cc/day. So every day, around 1300cc of taxes is generated because of me. So each week that's 9000cc in taxes to the government, and 62790cc to my employees.
I also I donate weapons/CC to programs for newbies and MUs from time to time. How often do you do that?
Do you still think that none of this money would "trickle down"?
One the few things that the government could do to benefit me (other than to eliminate taxes) would be to provide an Epic battle at week change so that I can get to a high energy recovery rate quickly. It is the only time I go overboard on laying down influence, and am wasteful of money. All other times, I have to budget carefully in order to meet the cash flow obligations that I have.
Honestly, if I was running things, there would ALWAYS be an eUSA battle or training battle. Having an epic battle at week change is just an extension of that policy.
In closing, I wonder how much rhetoric there would be if there was debate about some program that helped younger or less powerful players as much as this would help more powerful players. As it stands now, all you have to do is throw around terms like "elite" and "rich" and your casual reader doesn't go any farther.
Thanks for reading...
I usually donate 10g to a couple random younger players during TG discounts, and donate maybe 1k tanks a month. Individual comparisons are not the issue here though.
A large amount of our top 30 damage dealers often fight directly against USA interests. Their TP income definitely is not as well spent as in your case. I don't feel the country should reward these people even further.
Also, the super rich are equally worthy of consideration. If you compare the needs of 1% to the needs of 99%, the 1% usually loses out (in a fair world/system).
I did not get to take part in the epic battle because of the time of day. Move it forward a couple of hours and you'd have my support.
