Welcome new players!

Here comes our "First steps in eRepublik" article of several that will guide you through the game.


With autorization of the now former Minister of Education in Brazil, i'm using and adapting their article about the game for new players.

First login and The initial interface

As soon as you finish your inscription, you will see this page. On it, you see the welcome message, signed by our president. Read it and proceed to the game.



Now, you'll see the initial (home) page (sorry but the best image I got is in portuguese). To make it easy, i kept the numeration so you get the hang of it.



1. This is the main menu. In it you'll find the links to all important pages you have to access to play.

2. New players have a list of tutorials to fulfill, that presents and explains the game almos completely. After you are done with it, it desapears.

3. A bar with some info about the game, it will vanish, eventually.

4. The left menu. It shows important information as your energy bar status, the button to "eat food" (you have to have them on your storage), how many gold and money you have, and also the missions you have to complete. Also, at the right side of your avatar (above your xp and level), the new messages and alert notifications.

5. The daily tasks to fulfill.

6. This is the feed news, where ppl shout links and opinions. Every player can shout anything there, but careful with the rules, such as "no insults, vulgarity, external advertising, or racism", or any other kind of desrespect. You start with one, but later there will be up to 3 tabs: friends (every friend that shout appears on it), your Party (hopefully you will chose PTI) and your Military Unit (Pakistan Armi is one of many choices). Asyou want to see and be seen, on these shouts, its very important to add as much ppl you can (don't worry, if you dislike someone, you can remove this person from your friend list).

7. The Military Campaigns are a summary of the main battles of your country (Pakistan) and allies. The militar part of the game you'll get the hang later.

8. This is the top article list of your country, it shous articles in "newspapers" of our virtual country. If you like to write, and want to use this aspect of the game, you can "open" a newspaper and publish (as you will) things about your player, the game, the country, or any other aspect of the game. Recomended for later, as for now new players must use the gold for somethings more important.

9. If you have any doubt, you can also enter the forum, IRC or even send an ingame message for more experienced players.


Hope this series of articles helps you to understand more of the game engine and the whereabouts of the fun on it.
