I started the last ESO article - about ESO’s congress candidate list - with the line...

It turns out I was wrong. Within two short weeks I’ve already found a far greater joy; a joy that - this time - can surely never be surpassed. And so, without further ado, it gives me enormous, boundless, pant-splitting pleasure to announce that…


Aleks is ESO’s official CP candidate!




Let’s face it, the past month has been dull and unsuccessful. Botched finance bills, high taxes that haven’t brought in the cash promised, yet another widespread attack reducing our regions. And all of this has been smothered with a blanket of tedium and inactivity.

So what better antidote to the sleepy incompetence than Aleks? He’s the eUK’s best-known, best-loved entertainer, coming atcha from the ESO stable. And we all know that ESO is the nation’s best-loved entertainment party, so what could possibly go wrong?

Aleks is the best man for the job. Full stop.



So for the sake of the nation and your sanity, I urge you to vote for Aleks in the forthcoming CP election. You know it makes sense.
