[CP] Wrapping Up

Day 2,658, 06:34 Published in Ireland South Korea by An Sluagh

Citizens of the Republic,

This will be my final article of this Presidential campaign. For the past two months, the Irish population has put their trust in me and I feel that I have rewarded the nation for their trust. What began back in January with elements of congress proposing and supporting an impeachment which in the end was a tight vote.

I put this behind me and set about working and trying to reform eIreland.

In my two months in charge we have seen the following:

Work Tax 1% - meaning our workers get as much of their salary as they deserve.

VAT 1% - meaning our citizens can buy food and weapons for as cheap a price as possible.

WRM Import Tax 25% - Irish producers can provide WRM at a more competitive rate and not lose out on business due to imports.

FRM Import Tax 60% - Irish producers can provide FRM at a more competitive rate and not lose out on business due to imports.

IA Leadership Change - I sought to change the leadership in the Irish Army as I felt the organisation needed a breath of fresh air. I got the ball rolling and saw Mr. Tayto become Commander which has so far been nothing but a success.

Relaunching National Strikes - We began to launch National Strikes again where citizens would receive extra weapons and interact with one another on IRC. These have been a success.

24/7 Free Supplies - We also launched a free weapons supply system. All Irish citizens were able to come onto IRC and request free Q7 Weapons to do their Daily Order.

Active Ministry of Community - In my first month, the Ministry of Community was lead by James Keiller and his work was incredible, I have not seen such work done by this Ministry in a long time and I think everyone was more than happy with his performance. Unfortunately, this month we were unable to match his performance.

Frequent DoD Orders - My MoD Inept Punisher has done brilliant work in posting Battle Orders as often as possible. Our citizens were always informed of where to fight.

Successful Resource Wars - I lead the nation through the Resource Wars which saw us engage in wars with the UK and USA. We ended it with one of the best possible outcomes securing 80% food bonus and 40% weapons bonus.

Babyboom - We have so far raised around €80 to fund an advertising campaign on Facebook. Our Facebook page has been relaunched and we are closing in on our target of 100 likes.

Population Growth - Our population during my two terms has grown by roughly 25%. We are also more active on IRC and in game than previous months.

I'd like to thank my cabinet for their hard work over the past two months, without them I wouldn't have succeeded. Also thank you to all those who placed their trust in me, without your trust I would not have been able to prove myself.

All in all, I think I've put us in a good place.
