[CP] Quick & Sloppy Update

Citizens of the Republic,

The past few days have been something of an ordeal to say the least. The workload for my Government has been hectic and we have had many difficult challenges to face. This job has not been easy but I've enjoyed it for the most part. Anyway, it's time to update you of what has been going on.

[BabyBoom]

Ian Arbuckle is going to be setting up a PayPal account tonight to collect donations for our Babyboom. We are going to advertise on Facebook and target RL Irish citizens. We aim to collect at least €150 and have already been pledged €20 so only €130 more is needed to reach our goal. We will be setting up a Facebook page to front this campaign. I have asked Raven Anarcho if he could do the graphics as I am very impressed with the graphics he uses for the Recruitment Guild Tailteann Dáithe. Our progress has been slow be we are making ground on this area.

[Resource Wars]

This area has been a mess. We had made a deal with the UK and Norway to let us NE Norway in Northern Ireland to have a campaign in which we would earn Resource Tokens and Event Points. However due to a Croatian led Resistance War and an auto-attack overriding our attack this battle prevented these plans from taking place. My government quickly began seeking alternatives for the Resource Wars. We reached out to the USA who have declared war on us. The United Kingdom have also gotten in contact with us about us invading them, so we have proposed the UK as our natural enemy. There has been arguments in the Dáil over this but that matter will be dealt with in another article. With two fronts to fight in this event should be interesting and rewarding.

Let me briefly outline how the event works.

-For every region liberated by a Resistance War, the side of the Resistance will receive a Resource Token.

-If you win a direct battle you receive a Resource Token.

-This token can then be used immediately to grant your nation a resource.

-Event Points are received when you lose a direct battle and if you defend a Resistance War.

-Events points are used in a bidding process to get whatever leftover resources there are that have not been claimed by Resource Tokens.

Our aim is to earn as many Resource Tokens as possible and as quick as possible. We need full cooperation for this event if we are to receive the best bonuses.

[Referendum Commission]

Our membership has been altered and the proposed legislation has been finalized by the RC. It will be presented to the new Dáil to vote on.

This project is near complete.

[24/7 Supplies]

This government has launched a new campaign in which Irish citizens can claim Q7 weapons 24/7 so long as they fight for our prios. This was run in the past and was a great success. If you wish to avail of these weapons please join #IrishArmy on the IRC.
