Greetings fellow eCanucks.

I'd like to thank everyone who voted in the recent congressional election. To those who have been elected, I hope we can all work together to make our country a better place. To those who didn't make the cut, keep trying! eCanada can always use fresh new faces 🙂

Now it's obvious that the Immigration Council needs some improvements. I will work actively with congress to hash out the best solution. I will accept nothing more than a proper fix. As for the whole PTO mess, you can find my opinion here.

Now, lets move on to more entertaining things.

For the past two years, I've played this game under the name "Lelouch VI Britannia". It is the name of a character from my favourite anime, Code Geass. Prior to this, I used a stupid name that I used a lot back in highschool for things like PSN, games, etc. Mordakai8.

I am not all that big of an anime guy. In fact, I dislike a majority of anime. As I am growing older, even my interest in Code Geass is weakening. Because of this, I'm looking for a fresh start! I'd like to change my name.

Since I've already done this once before, the cost of such action is 50 gold, or 9000 CC at the current rate of exchange. Now, the problem I face is that I do not posses these kinds of funds.

I don't buy gold often. In fact, lately the only time I usually ever receive a gold pack is when I ask Prince Sheogorath to buy me one in exchange for the gold given, usually for free energy bars and all that stuff 😉.

So this brings me to the question at hand. Does anyone wanna help me out with the name change funds? I will probable be able to afford it in a few months, but I'd rather get it out of the way asap.

Anyone who donates to the Rename Lelouch Fund will receive their investment, plus a special gift as thanks (X amount of CC). I can't say when I'll be able to pay it back, but it for sure will be within the next couple of months.

What you need is a good first name, one that you share with lots of people - especially cool ones. Take Bruce, for instance: Lee, Willis, Campbell, Springsteen. Next you need a ridiculous last name, you know for levity's sake. Try putting together an element of nature and a part of the body...like, say, lightning and hands. And if that doesn't work, translate the last part into Japanese. Japanese always sounds cool.

Or just go the Serbian route and punch a bunch of random letters and numbers into your computer, or just smack your first down onto the keyboard, and call it a night.

Second suggestion: Enter Xander's Media Contest. Write an MDP-positive article on theme with any category, with [MDP] tags. Full rules are listed in my newspaper. The Financial Business and Battle Orders categories are untouched, any entry in those categories will likely win. Prize per category is 1500 CC, which puts you well on the way to the 9000 you need.

Incidentally, I'm running a soccer (football) league right now. You can sign up as a manager or as a sponsor. Players can earn 10 Q6 tanks per match they win. Full rules are listed in my newspaper.

You should've participated in one of my contests. It would've taken you almost halfway depending on your place. The contest is over though, but first place could've won 3200cc +14g. And even if you lost there would have been a draw for 25g (losers only). And even if you didn't get any of those, you would have gotten 50cc as a thanks for signing up.

I'll link you if I have another contest if you're interested. I'd call this advertising, but I don't really feel it is as Yami was cancelled.
