Why Wyoming?
Satya Yuga
People may be wondering why I chose Wyoming as my residence. While in "real life", Wyoming has less expensive real estate, more favorable statutes that encourage the fundamental right of self defense (less victim disarmament laws), less intrusive government in general, nature that is more beautiful than anybody from the more urban areas would ever believe. This doesn't really apply to the USA of the eRepublic as the laws, market prices and scenery appear to be uniform everywhere, and the only thing preventing individuals from purchasing tools of self defense is having enough dollars to spend.
What sums it up for me is the following article by Mark Spungin from the Wyoming State Shooting Association's Newletter (July-September 2007), that I found elsewhere on the internet. It splendidly answers the question "What makes a Wyoming person?" I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

As a fellow Wyoming person I agree completely with everything stated, Yellowstone is more spectacular that anything most city folk are used to. The only thing I would amend would be the statement about self defense. We don't know it as defense, we know it as hunting. If you go into just about any house in Wyoming you will find at least 3 guns possibly more. The combined number of guns and amounts of ammo of everyone in the state would equal or exceed that of the Army.
As the Congress Member for Wyoming I agree
A Wyoming Person ... um, ok. I counted 7 self-contradicting statements in that clip. So apparently Wyoming people openly contradict themselves. Sounds like a plan. Now I'm just glad I don't live in Wyomng ... in game, or in real life.
