Why do we read this?

Hello Canada! I'm here with a question. Why do we read the news? Well think of it this way, why wouldn't we read the news? It tells us things that we can't know if we look at events. It gives us a chance to advertise.

The newspaper has helped me to understand the basics of the game. It has given me my first Military Unit. Sometimes, it has given me a good chuckle.How has it helped you?
