What will the near future bring?

Day 2,991, 15:13 Published in Poland Poland by KapiRadom

I can’t say that the situation we’re observing now, it’s something unexpected. After an expensive offensive against Serbia, days of ping-pong war between Iran and Turkey, New World needed something new. Bulgaria, Chile and Republic of Macedonia gave all of us a helping hand with their coordinated attack on US. Officially they wanted to help Indonesia, which was occupied by Americans for months. The final result isn't known yet, while the war is still waged, but we can already predict who will lost the most.

The loss of colonies is the only price USA will pay, while for the rest of the fighting parties the consequences will be far more harsh. The conflict in North America brought the end of NAP on Southern Balkans. Greece started a war against Bulgaria and we didn't have to wait long for FYROM response. At this moment post-Asteria member is easily conquering Plovdiv, and without problems defending region of Macedonia. Regarding to Greeks military and financial potencial in few days they will probably erase their neighbours. Hungary wants to join the conflict as well. First NE proposal was rejected, but the second one is about to being accepted. Some believe that it has to do with friendship between Hungary, FYROM and Bulgaria but there is no doubt that Hungarians saw the opportunity to regain regions in Germany. They already failed two times in this task, it’ll be interesting to observe the third attempt.

I hope that this conflict will be not only the next, exciting war but also a crucial moment in eRepublik diplomacy. It’s not a secret that after Sirius collapse, many countries wanted to join Asteria side or at least make themselves pro-Astria. After the year of stagnation we can admit that something is changing. Nowadays we are watching how lines, considered impassable during Asteria-Sirius era, are crossed. Hungary has MPP with Bulgaria, Spain, Republic of Macedonia, Indonesia and it’s seems that to this happy family will soon or later join Chile. It’s easily noticed that they cut relation with Argentina and Portugal, former members of Asteria. Another example of country, that freely choose their allies is Hungarian Natural-Enemy-to-be. Greece at the same time have MPP with Croatia, Turkey or Albania and Romania, Argentina and China.

There will be no change without a move from the strongest country of this game. As you probably guessed, I’m talking about Poland. Just kidding, but my motherland is also an interesting case. Of course it’s all about Serbia, which seems to be more divided than ever, not only externally but also internally. Introduction of dictatorship in this country is a very suspicious matter, some say that Colin’s offensive was only a smokescreen for taking over the power. However more important for this article are its foreign affairs. Will Serbia become new Greece? Last days I could observe a lot of Serbs fighting on opposite sides. Some for FYROM/Bulgaria, other for Canada/USA/Greece. The situation is also complicated in the face of Hungary-Greece war, while both countries are post-Asteria members. Poland is also problematic subject in Serbia. There is a bunch of followers of Polish-Serbian alliance, but on the other hand most of the people would love to see Poland in opposite team.

Let’s think about possible scenarios for next months. The one, about which I’m afraid the most, is that the things remain unchanged. I can’t say that last months were overfill with boredom, but new alliances are also more exciting than most wars. The other, which I think could be interesting but also a bit unlikely, is as follows: Hungary sign MPP with Chile and continue collaboration with FYROM, Bulgaria and Indonesia. Poland, which now is the closes ally of Hungary, follow the path and also sign MPPs with those countries. With the help from Slovenia, Hungary and Poland, convince Serbia to work with them. At the end they all will look for the night damage in Brazil. PLUTO (Spain, Mexico, UK etc) could be posible partner. I lost my mind? Probably, but doesn't it sound fun?

Feel free to comment my ideas and for sure add your vision of near future.

Forever and ever yours,
