Well being Scottish myself I have to say I am not a big fan of the upcoming independence vote, I am a staunch supporter of the union. I am Scottish and proud I own a kilt I drink whiskey, irn bru and even Scotland's other unofficial drink buckfast and yes I also eat haggis! But I am also British my Scottish ancestors fought to help create the vast British Empire.
But given the potential of going under Finnish occupation I would rather be independent any day of the week!
As you can see the future is not looking bright and sadly it looks like I may have to brush up on my Finnish 🙁
Finland are now at more than 50% of the total points to win the campaign and the UK is lagging way back in the distance with not even a miserable 10% of the required points.
I have noticed this alarming trend if a few previous battles now too and I have to ask the question where is our 3d and 4th divisions? The eUK was taken down to a few core provinces not that long ago and with the help of our allies we took it back and went on the offensive but now its all gone pete tong. The provinces we took are now back in Finnish control and they appear to be launching a so far successful counter offensive.
If we cant defend our home regions I think we should seriously look at military reform. Now I am only new so I need everyone else's opinions on this matter because there could be a lot going on in the background I don't know or understand, but I think I have read on the wiki that there was a government funded MU. Was that more successful? Or should we look to MU's like O.N.E ran by Mario RIO Smerc that has been putting out a lot of damage recently?

Good article, mate. Personally, prefer El D to Buckie. I fought the Finnish invasion all day yesterday. Every battle the same story. Divisions 3 & 4 didn't bother turning up. Also, the Finns had a lot of support beyond the Asgard alliance which begs the question "what is the point of Sirius ?".
Sirius helped us regain our lost provinces so we cant take that away from them but I believe that at the end of the day it was the near wiping of the eUK that forced them to act as it could have led to British soil falling to another alliance and opening up some new less than favourable fronts for our allies. If elected to congress I intend to campaign for a better structured home defence.
Being only five edays old I don't know what has happened before. I do however understand what a mutual protection pact is. Any military action by "allies" should be to help REPEL invasion, not an afterthought. Considering the numbers some of the other pact members can bring to the field and considering the belligerent determination of Asgard to conquer eUK you'd think our allies would weigh in. There is either no communication between our government and Sirius members, in which case this government needs to go, or Sirius can't be bothered which means the Pact needs torn up and a real set of allies sought.
