Publisher's Note: The following wages, company prices and product prices were those as seen on the market at the time of the writing of this article.
Scenario 1:
38 Saltpeter Mines = 13,300 WRMs
Sell 13,300 WRMs on the marketplace at USD 0.19 per unit = USD 2,527.00
Food expense: 38 * USD 1.80 = USD 68.40
Net profit per Day: USD 2,458.60
Investment Amount: 38 * USD 8500 = USD 323,000.00
Days to recoup investment: 131.38
Scenario 2:
38 Saltpeter Mines = 13,300 WRMs
1 Q6 Weapons Company = 220 Q6 Weapons
Sell 100 WRMs on the marketplace at USD 0.19 per unit = USD 19.00
Sell 220 Q6 Weapons on the marketplace at USD 22.57 per unit (after VAT) = USD 4,965.40
Total Revenue: USD 4,984.40
Food expense: 38 * USD 1.80 = USD 68.40
Employee Expense: 10 * USD 155.00 = USD 1,550.00
Total Expense: USD 1,618.40
Net Profit per Day: USD 3,366.00
Investment Amount: (38 * USD 8,500) + (600 Gold * USD 780.00/Gold) = USD 791,000.00
Days to recoup investment: 235.00
Scenario 3:
Purchase 13,200 WRMs from the Marketplace at USD 0.19 per unit = USD 2,508.00
1 Q6 Weapons Company = 220 Q6 Weapons
Sell 220 Q6 Weapons on the marketplace at USD 22.57 per unit (after VAT) = USD 4,965.40
Employee Expense: 10 * USD 155.00 = USD 1,550.00
Food Expense: 1 * USD 1.80 = USD 1.80
WRM Expense: USD 2,508.00
Total Expense: USD 4,059.80
Net Profit per Day: USD 905.60
Investment Amount: 600 Gold * USD 780.00/Gold = USD 468,000.00
Days to recoup investment: 516.78

Which is the best option for your investment goals?
So I only need 28 more Saltpeter mines. LOL
I just deal with the RMs for revenue. Dealing with employees and RM purchases every day is too much like work.
zaaaaaaaaa
penta yürü git kardeşim burada da mı çıktın karşıma
Good work.
For scenario one you don't need land anymore so the total investment would be 38 * 7500 = 285000. Am I right?
yaaaaaaaaaaay
the price of land is now included in the purchase price creitzell
Hahah, I'm a long way away from ever owning a Q6 anything. I don't have RL disposable income so I don't buy gold so I have to save up from medals and what not.
On my Iasov account it took me like 18 months to accumulate enough to get up to two Q3s and a Q2 company and the admins didn't like my progress so they banned me. 😛
Oh well, my time will come.
i got to say ..... the Q6 weapons way may have the least income .... but it saves the most health 😒
Getting the Q6 is worth it so, so much. It is more valuable than JUST for economic reasons, it's valuable for intangibles like rank and kicking booty, and the weapons last longer so you don't have to buy weapons as much off of the market.
Not only that, but the investment in the scenario 2 is over double that of 1. The amount of days to recuperate it is less than twice the amount of days of Scenario 1, meaning that scenario 2 is optimal in the long run.
Of course, it requires a very major investment which I know I sure don't have on hand. AND for admins to allow us to upgrade to Q6 'again' for another 'one time only' special.
One time, just for Lysander:
2 x q6 tank, fully staffed + WAM = 220 to 440 tanks (depends on bonus)
WRM required = 13200 (base production, no bonus)
Rubber Plantations needed to self supply = 53
HP's used = 550
1 x q5 food w/ 7 workers + WAM = 800 to 1600 food (depends on bonus)
FRM required = 4000 (base production)
Cattle Ranches needed to self supply = 16
HP's used = 170
Work cheap for a n00b.
Use free and .19 gold training.
HP's used = 30
Cost:
27 commune workers @ $1 per = $27
Wages earned working for n00b = $.82(-)
Food to recover 750 HP's = $0 (Eat your own food.)
Extra training = .19 gold (about $152)
Total daily cost = $178.18
Results:
27 happy & well supplied MU members.
1 busy MU CO.
Note:
Still working on obtaining the necessary RM's.
BTW, I'm not looking to get my money back. 'Tis a game and I'm willing to "pay" a little bit to have some fun with my friends. I've also had benefactors that enjoy my 'gameplay' who have sent gifts of gold to help me do this.
@Molly Emma Thanks. I haven't looked to buy one in a while.
@TheDillPickl: Although you'll use less health, you'll get more raws per your USD -- especially with the current price of Gold -- using Saltpeter Mines instead of Rubber Plantations. Also, commune workers expect payment in addition to the minimum wage of USD 1.00 that they earn. Whether you donate to them currency, food or weapons, you'll want to track the value of these donations as an employment expense.
@Aren Perry: As long as Q6 Weapons are sold on the marketplace, the only reason to build them yourself, or hire employees to do it, is for economic reasons. It is actually easier to use the revenue you gain (from RM sales for example) to buy said Q6 Weapons from the marketplace.
A good well laid out article, will you be doing one on food production?
@Leroy Combs: I'll probably do one focusing on both Q5 and Q6 Food. Q5, as it is more attractive to the player than Q6. Q6, to determine how profitable manufacturing this type of food is. Now if I could only track how much Q6 Food gets sold on the marketpace as compared to Q5 Food.
is there a loan program in the USA? I'm interested in starting new raw companies and I need money
@Aren Perry: With the revenue from the 38 Saltpeter Mines, I can buy 112 Q6 Weapons from the Counter-Economy.
@Lysander & Leroy: Q6 food was ill-conceived which the numbers will demonstrate when calculating ROI for both Q5 and Q6 bread Companies for comparison. Gold for Gold, one would be able to more quickly recapitalize with 2 Q5 bread Companies given the mechanics governing health & food.
@Tiamati.Magick: I agree with you about Q6 Food. Get rid of it already! That is why my curiosity as to how much Q6 Food is sold on the Marketplace as compared to Q5 Food. Even if there is a greater theoretical return on investment for Q6 Food, at the current market prices, that doesn't mean that any Q6 Food that you post for sale is actually going to sell.
