JLO4PP....on party relations

Day 2,329, 08:40 Published in USA USA by Jefferson Locke

The Federalist Party has always had a motto that sums up everything that we do. It is one thing that has guided our actions through the good times and the bad, and something that I plan to focus on during my term as Party President:

Country>Party>Self.

This is an ideal that has seen us dedicate ourselves to ATO operations, Congressional battles, and even further back, running members from sixth parties to ensure that their voice is heard in the process.

It is also something that I can tell you I will dedicate myself too.

Party relations can be a hard thing to navigate. There are a lot of egos in erep, and I will not lie and tell you that I am ego free. The problem with party relations is that sometimes disagreements over what is best for the country can lead to one party feeling like they are being attacked by another.

In order to improve our party relations even more in the coming months, we will need someone who is experienced with this type of thing. I believe that I am the best qualified for this because I have worked on both the national and party level, and have met and worked with many of the leaders of the other parties.

These connections that I have made over time can help us develop even more friendships as a party. There are some that believe that parties should not worry about developing friendships, and that us, being the number one party in the nation, doesn’t need them.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Would Twilight Sparkle be as awesome without friends? I didn’t think so.

In order to help our nation become the greatest nation that it can be, these relationships are essential. We need these relationships to help us build consensus in Congress, we need them to fight the ATO wars that will pop up, to help us move more members into the national ranks of government, and to help make SHIELD one of the top five MU’s strength wise in the country.

More importantly than all of that however, we need these relationships to keep America strong.

I am a firm believer that strong parties lead to a strong nation. It is something that was taught to me by Fingerguns, Paul Proteus, and other Feds of legend when I first started the game. A nation without a strong base of parties cannot hope to improve the lives of it’s citizens, as most of the meta game revolves around parties. The best way to retain new players and help them rise up is through the party structure.

Without these relationships being strong, we are always one misunderstanding away from a party on party war, which can be destructive to the nation. Parties in open warfare might be fun sometimes, but it also opens the door to PTO attempts. Having just defeated the greatest PTO threat in the history of our country over the past year, this is something that we simply cannot risk.

See how minor misunderstandings can be harmful?

I believe that I am the man for the job when it comes to making our relations stronger will all parties, the top five and the sixth parties.

I am Jefferson Locke, and I am asking for your vote to help build lasting relationships with the other parties in America.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you to make our party even stronger.
