Good faith

Day 2,022, 13:54 Published in USA USA by Aeriadne

Busy week, busy week.

Unity has exploded. I'm not going to give you the links; just check the media. It's everywhere. And if you're unaware of that, lift the rock from over your head and get out in the sunshine more.

Seriously, it's beautiful out here.

Regardless of that, I have a couple of things to say on the matter, first and foremost being that a friend of mine is leaving.

And so, as a sign of good faith, I have switched my congress seat to that of the WTP.

Am I still a Federalist? Of course. But there needs to be more cooperation between parties, and we have enough numbers this month to afford a one seat loss to help out a party who it means a lot to, and who means a lot to the nation.

So, there's that.

But what's more been on my mind new players. Because even I don't have the patience and time to try and catch up to what everything that's put out has meant.

So, here's where I recognize a couple of my faults. I am not politically savvy, nor am I particularly well known. But I do know what I can do and the work I can accomplish.

So with that in mind, I'd like to propose a little something that I've been working on for a while. A thought brewing.

THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE

On the 1st, 10th, and 20th of each month, it will be the job of the USPS to send out a national newsletter containing the list of the upcoming election's candidates and where the party primaries are, national news, and ads free of charge to all party members of all United States parties Level 25 and below. For a monthly subscription fee, parties will be able to purchase higher levels to be included in Mass Messaging. So, if the USWP could look to purchase subscriptions for all of their party leadership and congress members, or the AMP could wish to purchase subscriptions for their party up to level 40. Those members would then be included.

The system, as of right now, would be independent of government oversight, primarily because... well, I haven't talked with anyone about this yet. :/

What I need is for people who are willing to do the work, and possibly a government sponsorship. Interior, Education, it doesn't matter; I will do the workload. Again, I'm stupid, not lazy.

The goal of this is to keep our citizens informed. Unity has led to lethargy, a huge meta-game which excludes, and a general lack of excitement with anything to do.

It's boring. It's time to keep ourselves informed. It's time to keep our parties communicating. And it's time to boost retention.

If you have interest in this project, talk with me, because as of right now I have the google docs and all of that set up; I just need to know if anyone thinks it's a good idea/is willing to help out.

But if I get no interest, and if I get no people to sign up, then I am starting this in a month regardless. I will do it.

Don't you doubt. Because again, I'm not lazy, I'm just...

And now, as I promised Em... my new article section.

RAUCOUS RASCALS RILES ROYALS
In our first week of keeping up with the ever elusive Emerick, we find him callously cat-calling the nation's top party in a public congressional thread. This is the latest in the lineup of Emerick's congressional shenanigans. Sources close to the dubious senator have noted that "He's not even really trying anymore," and "He smells like lazy hookers."

Hooker declined to give comment, but did give dazzling silicon smile.

"He really is a mess," said a source close to the WTP office. "We wouldn't have run him if we'd known he was just going to try and smoke up each congressional bill like a joint."

"He's really neat," one red-eyed, fresh-faced senatorial youth commented on. "He's been much better than Jude about sharing his weed."

Will Emerick be able to sustain such a discourse? Will anything come out of him that isn't a cloud of blow? And what will congress do with the newly proposed "suck my dick bill" he is championing. Tune in next time to find out!

Until next time, dothras chek.
