The problem Simba is that you don't learn, there's not even a visible impact from attempts to enhance your eRep IQ. Shitty ideas couched in flowery verbiage are still shit ideas if implemented.

All I have learned about this game when I was starting, I learned myself. The game Wiki is pretty simple. If I had additional questions or needed some gold or something, I asked my MU or party.

I used to help out new accounts in my MU with gold for training grounds, bit then all of those accounts got banned for being multis, so basically lost loads of my money for nothing, stopped caring for new accounts after that.

As PN said, nobody got sat down and lectured eRep on day one in an official course. Besides, as you've already shown, you'd not accept it and just say - ah but my idea works, you just have opinion or you just don't believe in my awesome idea.

When you go to university you don't get a USB cable shoved in you head and a download of the right everything. What you do get, is being told to go read a shit ton of stuff, even then no guarantee that's enuf.

The problem with the fast track is that you can see unobstructed, the effort you need to put in reading articles. But it is a solid approach. After that it's about being around for conversations, so of course you're on Discord right? Joining a party and putting on a bib is a great idea if you're just into crappy snippy identity politics. Expect your ideas and position to evolve, maybe compromise because of reasons beyond your control or the path you take.

When you say 'tell me everything', that's unrealistic. We are here by having traveled a common path, each with a slightly different view and commitment to looking at the road ahead rather than sat in the back reading a magazine or sleeping. That path leads us through many different issues that are not remembered by all but have an imprint on how decisions are reached.

But all of this is academic, because while you respond to 'no this won't work because' with 'but my great idea is' again and again, as an argument via attrition - people's ability to give more than one fuck will wayne and you'll be left ignored.

Ok, well I would make the MoD independent of Government and put it under the control of Congress for financingl purposes. Huey has operated pretty much unhindered over the years in the Finance position and I think the MoD should be operated the same way. So for example let’s say we pick Chaz and Ulsters Finest as the two best people and if they both wanted to be involved let them organise a plan and give them a budget, the gov’t doesn’t have much income long term so for additional revenue a weekly donation scheme eg 10 players donate 10k could gain an addition 100k. If this is agreed cross party and with Congressional approval then it operates irrespective of who is CP - too often a change of gov’t leads to a new person in charge and little happens.

Nah, you don't make the MoD 'independent', they are the military will of the CP. They shouldn't be left as the top authority. By all means, give em a free reign to pursue the role as they see fit, but they still need to be answerable to the CP. Congress are too slow to act, so other than yay'ing and nay'ing via NE proposals they shouldn't be left to run a 'time critical' ministry .
