As promised this article is going to include details about my former life in eAustralia, but as the current eRepublik happenings are quite exciting i will get to them first.

There is two exciting events currently going. Both which are only for today (Day: 256😎

Now for my story:
A long long time ago, in a land far far away.... well just over a year ago... umm yeah anyway..

So mid-june 2013 i was bored with life, the semester at Uni had just finished and i was looking at another boring holiday with nothing to do.
So as any normal teenager does i had a look around for a good game to play, after destroying several castles, slaying a bunch of dragons, and beating COD Modern Warfare SP a few times it was almost lunch time of the first day...
A few days later while i was playing a (quite boring) browser MMORPG someone was spamming a referal link for a game in the Global chat so after a few mintues i decided it cant be much worse than this game and so i followed the link.
...
Fast forward a few days, and there i was, Callum Ormand, in eAustralia with absolutely no idea what to do.
I talked to a few people, got involved in a few organisations, and killed a few people.
It didnt take long for me to realise the potential in Gold... so as i (used to) do in most games, i made a second account... and then a third... a few hours later i made a sixth.. eighth.. ... ... fifteenth..
About a month later i had converted all the CC from the accounts to Gold, upgraded a lot of my companies and training grounds, and was doing quite well socially, and politically in the eAus community.
About another month or so later, Plato, sitting on his throne of Gold noticed what i had been doing, i logged on one morning to see i had been given a temporary suspension of three days.

Well a three day break from a game was no problem, i mean i DID have a life i could get on with... well sort of.. anyway thats not the point.
So three days later, an excited me logs back in to find :0 :0 :0 ALL MY CC WAS MISSING 🙁 🙁 lol, I had a few Thousand CC when i was last online, and now i was at -40000.

Now i assume most of you expect the story to continue starting with a few days ago when i made this account and started playing again... (right?).
But no, I actually continued playing with my old account for a few more months and COMPLETELY worked off the negative balance, and in fact had about 25 Gold, and a few thousand CC to my name when i decided i needed to quit.

Basically i had a bunch of MAJOR career deciding exams coming up, and despite the few functioning braincells i might have, i knew i had to free up some time to study, and i had already given up most of my other games. (There was a few other personal contributing reasons, but none important to the story)
..........
So NOW fast foward almost a year, here's me again in about the exact same situation as when i first started (LOL), i went back to my old account's in a few games that were connected to my Facebook account to see what was up in all the communites.. Did the equivelant of 2-clicking in them all and called it a day.
The next day i went back to one of my games that i hadn't gotten very far in before i originally quit it to do the daily stuff, one of the daily tasks was to spin the 'Wheel of Fortune', AND FORTUNE DID I HAVE!! Basically i won the jackpot of $AUD worth about $250 if i was to buy what i won.
So as i wasn't really keen on playing that game anyway, i decided to sell the Facebook account. Had a few offers and finally sold it for $150.

Therefore i could no longer access any of my games that were created using my Facebook account.
Most of the $150 i have used to get a headstart here, and i hope that together we can turn this community and country into something worth the Investment 🙂 (but lets be honest i wouldve spent it even if we couldn't lol)

Now for the Contest:
The Winners will be whatever comments get the most votes.
There will be three winners, 1st place will win 3/5 of the Prize pool, 2nd place win's 1/5, and same with 3rd.
The prize pool amount is Displayed at the top of the Article and will be updated when it changes.
The prize pool is equal to 1/4 of Gold from any BH Medals i get today.
Now the comments that can win must be about how you came to play eRepublik (or something similar), OR a reply to such a comment.
Contest is open until the end of Day 2569!
