ADP - Senate results and apology

Day 2,440, 07:24 Published in Australia Australia by Send love to Plato

Firstly a huge thank you to all the Aussies that voted for the Australian Democratic Party in yesterdays Australian senate, we had more votes than the previous senate election so it shows that more Aussies each month are trusting us with Australia’s future having seen what we have achieved. I can not be prouder of what our band of brothers (and sisters) has achieved in such a small amount of time. In our four months of existence our members have been at the front of our LETO acceptance, launched eAustralia’s first Airstrike which gained our community a senate and made the heartbeat of Australia beat faster and faster to the likes we haven’t seen for nearly a year. The political scene’s pulse grows stronger and I am proud we were at the forefront of Australia’s revival the results of which speak for themselves with our results in the previous two senate elections.

Australia is alive again and you should be proud you are the guiding light of this country. We have proved that we aren’t a party looking to grab at power or control the community because last month (and it looks increasingly like this month also) despite being the largest and most active party we have been more than happy to back candidates from other parties, this we will continue to do because the ADP always puts Australia first.

Sadly with our fantastic success comes the reality, yesterday we had a list of eleven candidates which meant some fantastic older players as well as promising younger players missed out. For that I apologise. The listing order was determined by activity and i wanted to promote youth and experience so i split the list 50/50. Why? Well we have broken the recent rust and mould on this community and the ADP has a built a reputation of being at the forefront for change, modernising and helping the leaders of tomorrow today, this was not going to change in this election or under my Presidency. We had such a strong list of candidates that i genuinely hated making the decision because i had confidence that each candidate would do a brilliant job in senate...but as i said in the end i based it on activity. For that again i apologise to those of you who missed out...but i urge you to write the odd article, not even for or about the ADP, just get involved and next month get to the top of the list and give me a headache again. I do watch closely and regually so will see the fruits of your labour.

So, what for the coming months for Australia’s biggest party? Well after this is published i will open a PM for all ADP Senators so our younger representatives have a sanctuary to discuss and debate and question our elder senators in an environment they know will be warm and friendly.

Our weekly free food drops for all Australian Democratic Party members will continue each and every Wednesday/Thursday. The articles for the food drops last two days in the eAustralian media so please keep a look out for those as they are our little way of helping. I will be looking at different Qfood to see if prices means the lower Qfood offers more health for the same price as our usual 200 Q5 food. Of course if you just collect the food to sell then you can have either option for whatever suits your individual needs.

This week there will be another competition open to you awesome ADP members as well with gold up for grabs so keep an eye open for that, as usual if spaces aren’t filled then it will be opened up to the rest of the Aussie community.

Finally, in the next few days you will receive a PM with a link to a ballot for the Presidential elections, when it is nearer the day it will all be set up for you so all you have to do is click the safe link, click the option you want your party to take and that’s that. I will take the options from the candidates on the official candidates list page and obviously include an option for the party to remain neutral. I will collate the results and announce them so please vote as it does take a bit of effort making sure all 60+ members are contacted and have a fair and equal say...we wouldn’t be called the Australian Democratic Party if we didn’t back our words up with actions. If any ADP member is interested in running for the Presidency of Australia then send me a PM and we'll have a friendly chat.
