A Damascus SHINE just in time

Forged in times of controversy. A sharp blade with a brass hilt. A Damascus SHINE just in time. Those where the days.

It was the best of times and the worst times & that is the truth. Does an apology change the past? No. Does the passage of time change both man and women alike? I certainly think so. The best moments in life are rarely noted as such when living through them. It is only when one takes a moment to look back and re-live the fun memories that they can be appreciated.

No longer in High School & beyond even that of College I look back with a smirk. Was I totally out of line in what I did? Absolutely! Do I chuckle at what I did even today? Sometimes. Do I miss my efriends, Oblige, WildOwl and RainySunday. Yes, more than anything. I am as harmless today as an oldman, with a full time job and real life commitments I can no longer afford the ambition of my youth. I am a changed man, forged within calm waters and subtle tones.


I hope my apology does not fall on deaf ears, for my love is true and my heart is vast. Castigated into the precarious water by partially bitter men, I have served my time. I have served my time for years and years. Forever alone.



But I have hope, when I look at eUSA today I see a very different nation. People with kindness, and love. People with hearts of forgiveness. I am likely no longer remembered by most but I ask you for your forgiveness all the same.

I wish to come home and so I will wait until an obliging Owl in shining armor comes to sweep me off my feet on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
