What’s up party people!? I am running for Party President for We The People this month. It came as a bit of surprise to be nominated so soon as I have only just returned to the game back in late July. However, don’t mistaken my short current run in eRepublik as inexperience. I’m going to lay out a bit about my past here in eRepublik as well as my future goals should I be elected PP.



I was born in eRepublik on November 30, 2009. I joined America’s Advancement Party at the time and got involved helping out with mass mailings. I ran for congress back then as well. Some of you old timers might remember how different running for congress was back in those days. I ran for congress in eKansas and was endorsed by PigInZen and Dell Fargus - two big names from back in the day - however, I was beat out by my opponent. I also served as Director of Communication for a short time as well for AAP. After a while, I slipped away from the game because of RL things I guess, it was a long time ago, so I’m not really sure. I did come back in 2012 for a very short time, but I didn’t really do much. I think that return was a month or less.



I’m back now and loving every minute! I came back in July 2014 and joined up with We The People and started actively putting myself out there in the party. I got scooped up as Deputy Chief of Staff in my first month back. In August I joined the Media Department as a deputy, and as many of you may know, I put out several articles for the paper. I also became a Deputy in the Retention Department as well. In August, I took another shot at congress and finished 2nd in the primaries with 31 votes.



So now that you all know some background information, how about my plans? You may already know, I’m a pretty big advocate of communication. I wrote an entire article on communication and its importance. If I’m elected Party President, you can be assured there will be a significant amount of communication. I plan on releasing personal weekly newsletters with information pertaining to the party. I’m also going to be consistently making weekly threads on the forums and in-game to keep the leadership of the party in motion at all times.

One thing I will be spearheading myself and making my primary task during my term will be overhauling the Party’s information on the forums. There is a lot of information on our forums that is outdated and it is in dire need of being updated. Along with that, I’ve noticed there seems to be a bit of overlap in the party as far as positions and such go - I have plans to streamline our party and make it more efficient.

However, I know as PP I can’t do it all. I have a cabinet I’m working on putting together that is going to be full of people I know I can rely on, who are active and can get a job done. I’m not just picking people who previously directed departments just because that’s where they were. If I’m elected, you will see people in positions that may not have been there last term.

Yes, I’m talking about change. Real change, not Obama change. I’m talking about change you’ll be able to see and feel. Change that needs to come about to freshen and liven up our party and bring it even further up to the top. The communication level in the party is going to be at a point where everyone is going to know what’s going on and there will be no excuse for not knowing. So when you go vote for your next Party President, vote for progress, vote for communication, vote for efficiency - vote for MrCarey!
