Non-Aggression Pact with Asteria
Lifted directly from the eUS Dept of State’s article, USA-Asteria Non Aggression Pact

Don’t shoot the messenger, the WHPR just reports this stuff.

The government of the United States of America and Asteria HQ have been able to work together to work out a deal that is benefical for both sides. We are grateful for their cooperation and are extremely glad to be able to announce this to our populace.

The United States of America agrees to sign a Non Aggression Pact with Asteria/LETO that is automatically renewed eachmonth. The two parties agree not to consider hostilities against each other including Natural Enemy Proposals, Declaration of War and Airstrikes.

The USA may sign MPPs with Asteria and LETO members, provided that both sides agree.

Signed,
Oblige
President of eUSA

Informer
Secretary General of Asteria

We look forward to reuniting with many former friends on what was until recently the other side and to make new relations with other countries.

Sincerely,

The US Department of State

Editor’s Note: Asteria is Romania, Brazil, China, Argentina, Greece, Slovenia and Serbia. LETO is Canada, Czech Republic, Australia, Republic of Moldova, Portugal, Iran, Israel, Peru, Colombia, Montenegro, Belarus.
I’ll remind you, please, keep it civil down there. And don’t shoot the piano player.

WTF Moments in eRep History (Part II)
Senior White House Correspondent Azazel Romanov

I know you guys were waiting for us to whip out Part Two of this list, so I went on the hunt for more WTF Moments in eRep History. You may not find all of these as unbelievable as I do, but they do represent a few moments in history that either had us completely caught by surprise or at least a little confused.
And so, without further ado, here's your Part Two, 6-10:

6. That time JCS refused a Presidential Order: I know a lot of you weren't around when JCS/eUSMil was the official, government sanctioned military. Back then, the Military was the third branch of government, including Congress and the Executive. JCS, in theory, was to follow Presidential orders on military priorities, and in return, the President had to take JCS recommendations much more seriously than the current arrangement between President and NSC. NXNW resigned rather than changing a simple battle priority, and this was one of the first major steps towards the eventual split between the elected government and the appointed JCS.

7. The election of Glove and Direct Democracy: While not exactly a WTF moment, this was completely unprecedented. Glove won the race despite earlier expectations that he would lose, and set about making a “direct democracy” system to decide major actions. One major result was our decision to invade Indonesia. This was done based completely on popular support, although Glove would later be Impeached and write his own thoughts on the state of the country.

8. That time the Serbian PTO’er PTO’ed Serbia: Detailed by the WHPR itself, this one was a strangely pleasant surprise for Americans. Hanibal LA was one of the main leaders of the Serbian PTO attempt of America, and when he returned home many believed he would only seek to strengthen their support. Instead, he looted the government and rage quit, leaving Americans to scratch their heads and laugh at Serbia's misfortune.

9. That time we had a missing President: After beating out Harrison Richardson and reclaiming the United States, Emerick was considered a great President and leader for our country. He even had a Party set up later in his honor, S.E.E.S., and is considered one of the greatest American players of eRep. However, when he was President, he simply disappeared one day without anyone really knowing why. Josh Frost even wrote an article bidding him farewell. It was later found out he had run into some real life trouble and he did eventually come back, but this was the first time we had a President go completely AWOL and many weren't really sure what to do about it.

10. The first time we surrendered, sort of: Emerick was known earlier in his Presidency as the first President to admit full defeat in a war. That's right, we have given up before. The only other time this officially happened was Josh Frost's treaty with TWO to end their occupation in the most recent World War. But back then, wiping the United States was unthinkable given the number of regions we had and the amount of money it took to do it. It was even said that they couldn't complete the wipe of our country because they ran out of money on our last state, which at the time was Florida. However, PEACE GC got a little too greedy and we decided to fight back instead.

I hope you all enjoyed this list as much as I enjoyed digging things up. I'm sure there are a lot of other WTF Moments you can think of that were truly worthy of this WTF series, and we'd love to hear about them from you.

War Maps & Analysis
White House War Correspondent Alexander_Auctorias

North of the Border, things have changed a little bit since last we spoke. France and Portugal have taken the opportunity to have a little fun with the UK's holdings in Canada. France has taken three regions from the UK and are working on SWoE. France's holdings will be difficult to keep, however, so the UK has a chance to come back. Portugal took three regions and have now turned their attention to the mainland, Wales. At the same time, Brazil decided to get in on the action, and attacked the UK as well. Brazil has taken four regions and is working on Northern Ireland right now. With extremely one-sided fighting, I don't see a good end for the UK here. Brazil has the influence to keep UK regions under thumb for a very long time.

South of the Border, we see a couple of things in the works. The United States have decided to take some liberties with Cuba. The US has liberated Las Villas, with Oriente next on the check-list. Colombia will just not stop picking on Mexico. They have attacked again, but it appears that Mexico will be shielded in Baja from being wiped for the foreseeable future, unless someone decides to Airstrike them. :/

I have been informed that the War between Lithuania and Sweden is a training war. Enjoy it while it lasts. We've seen more than one of these things going sideways, but they seem to be having fun. Russia is doing a quickie with some regions in Denmark, probably some prearranged deal of some sort. Finland and Estonia enter the 32nd battle in their war. If this is not a training war, I’m actually very impressed. It takes a little bit of determination for two countries to keep fighting for so long with neither being wiped. Enjoy your fun, fellas.

Turkey is doing some house-cleaning, taking regions back from Iran. They have won three in the war, and are working on the fourth in SW Iran. I'm not sure how close they've been, but I doubt it has been difficult for Turkey. Austria has attacked Poland, and of course, Poland secured and is about to attack. Not sure why they would do this, but whatever.

Keep clicking and Keep shaking that A**.

Here’s your PDB Leak of the Day, kiddies.
Y’all been asking what’s up with replacing the Chief of Staff, so...

Oblige: “Also, an important Cabinet announcement:

A^2 and The Mike will be taking over as CoS. A^2 will handle external affairs - NSC, SoD, and SoS, and The Mike will handle Interior, Education, and SHS. Media will report directly to me.”

Custer: "'Media will report directly to....' hahahahahahahahaha!!! okay.. okay... seriously...”
