[SBM] The Update I would like to see
Slybabymichele
New players that join this game are probably disheartened that they will never be able to surpass the strength or have the similar strength level as those that have come before them without them going on a hiatus and coming back. This more then anything keeps newer people from staying with this game.
Just a new training ground is far from what is needed to fix this issue. What I would like to see is a new training ground that does at least 90 strength gain and disables fighting for 24 hours.
With the current status quo a younger player will never reach much less surpass the strength of those that have come before them in this game. Not until the day the older players decide to retire. Who really wants to wait until then? I want to go against people who consider themselves in their prime against myself and not end always falling short because I didn't discover this game before they did.
See you in the ring one day.

Yay pikachu finally got to see the light of day!

Wait, did the images load earlier, but they don't now?
Hey Sly, I think eRep is tsundere toward imgur these days.
I agree with you 100%. I am a young player and I have the same perception.
Time Management ala 'eRepublik Rising'.
Each day has only 24 hours. 8 hours automatically, set for work; which leaves 16 hours to train, work overtime or sleep. If you do not sleep at least 4 hours a day, it cuts your ability to work overtime the next day, cuts your battle damage 10% per day till you sleep; adds 1 hour of sleep for every day you do not sleep. Limit wellness to 500 per day, which is replenished at day change.
Day 1: You don't sleep one day: no OT the next day, 10% loss of damage and you must now sleep at least 5 hours.
Day 2: You don't sleep again: no OT the next day, 20% loss of damage and you must now sleep at least 6 hours.
Etc....
I just love how assuming some can be... " Nobody trains for a marathon and runs a marathon on the same day." WRONG https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultramarathon
A better approach might be to apologize to Admins for sabotaging thier game than telling them now to fix said sabotage...
Wrong, did I say ultra marathon, no I said marathon. I guess a better way to put it would have been ,"one does not train for marathon everyday and then run a marathon on the same day and expect to have good results or the best results" better for you.
Unless someone is hacking and creating their own rules a player isn't sabotage the game. The admins create the rules and if a player plays by those rules then they can't be put at fault for how the game has turned out. If anyone sabotaged their game it is the people that created the rules and didn't make it better. So no the answer is not to say sorry for those who won't do what is best and instead just ignore the problem when they see one.
ultra idiot, you run first 26 miles to train for last 26 miles, this is not getting into vehicle and driving....

I liked the initial concept concerning this general problem in another article. The author suggested divisions by strength rather than experience level. I suspect the admins won't go that route as it could potentially cut some of their current revenue with TG upgrades and such. I felt it was worth exploring.
Your concept was an interesting read. Having a player decide between training and fighting on that day has some merit, however I don't see that solving the base issue of massive strength differences in each level.
If they decide to change anything I doubt it will change anything overnight, they don't want to upset the players that have been here the longest. Given time it might solve the issue of massive strength or at least this change will give more people a chance of earning a BH medals currently and in the future.
You nailed it.
stop usign imgur, it´s not trustable, use tinypic..... can't see images
fixed
i agree, but you know there will be a pack which will let you train and fight on the same time for a month for 15Euro. so never will really change until Plato will not change his incoming strategy: less money from more people!
this would also enable more tactics in military operations 🙂
what about lower strength players just get more strength from each current training ground? Something like ate try gained is tripple until geting to 20k, double until 40k.... Something like that?
Remove strength totally or limit it so individuals can achieve the max strength after like year training..
If anything maybe a April fools prank was a test to that kind of system?
I think anyone who wasn't in D1 might be upset with that system unless you capped strength for each Division. If that happened you would also need to introduce level/division holding to not have people loose 25-50k strength if they already had above the capped amount and make the decision to stay there or loose strength.
I agree with the message. There has to be a way for younger players to be relevant, or why should they stay?
These ideas would help that.
