[President] Sweden is NOT at war with Finland
Valnad
We have a signed deal that allows Finland to hold our deer region Jamtland Harjedalen until March 15th. This has nothing to do with cowardice, we simply let them have that in order for us to be able to get other raw materials in other regions. Unfortunately, the Russian war and its aftermath has currently made it very difficult for us to get a hold of those regions. This has, however, nothing to do with Finland. Since we have deer in Svealand, they will be allowed to keep Jamtland as long as they respect the treaty between our countries.
Their attacks on Jamtland Harjedalen yesterdat and Svealand today are all according to the deal. Finland lost Jamtland Harjedalen because they failed to defend it. Why, I do not know, but it sure was silly of them. Sweden actually did more damage to defend it for them than they did themselves, which is a bit ironic.
But since they lost the RW in Jamtland Harjedalen - as foolish and uneccessary as that may have been - they had to declare us NE in order to get it back.
Now that they have won it again, which we allowed them to do without a fight, they had to attack us a second time within 24 hours. That auto-attack just happened to land in Svealand and in a VERY inconvenient time (middle of the night).
Even though the decision to leave everything for auto attack is a bit risky (we had preferred if the attack was placed against another region than our capital, for all the obvious reasons) the intentions from our neighbors were in fact good. A bit naive, perhaps, but there was no intention of harming Sweden. We both want as few battles as possible until we can close down this NE war.
The rules of the game dictates that a NE shall last a minimum of 7 days before we can change it. When those 7 days are over, the Finnish CP will initiate a vote where he puts "no country" as Finlands new NE and then initiate a peace proposal, which I shall have to do too. Once these peace proposals have been accepted by our congresses, the war will be over.
Let this be a lesson for the future:
Winning Jamtland has caused us a lot of drain damage and irritation. I sincerely hope that Finland realizes that they shall have to do more than 500k damage per round if they are to keep that region, considering the amount of BH hunters that linger around the world. If not, we may have to re-evaluate the situation in the future.
Meanwhile, we have good reasons for not answering their NE with a NE vote of our own. You must realize that Sweden is in a fragile state right now, and we came very close to being attacked by Canada no more than 2 days ago. Due to the lingering threat of new attacks from TEDEN countries, I have together with my military cabinet decided to hold our NE for the time being.
I hope that this answers all your questions regarding the NE between Finland and Sweden.
Yours truly,
Valnad

Just by looking at the battle stats report from that fight you can clearly see that there was an coordinated attack from serbian people, especially from MU named Elita. How does it feel to fight your own allies? No wonder EDEN rules the map because you cant even co-operate together. Thanks for the lovely deers anyway.

First of all: look at that battle again. The first mini Finland's third highest influence was 12k. Fifth highest in the second was 71k, then 71k again, then 78k... and so on. Finland lost at least 5 battles because they simply didn't even bother to appear. So it's not like you had to face the entire Serbian army.
Secondly, you need not inform me of the fact that big alliances suck and that Balkan units constantly interfere in our regional affairs. They do so on both sides. But EDEN have no moral high ground in this war, they are just the other side of the same coin.
There will come a day when we're a free and independent nation again. We're working on that. But it's difficult to achieve neutrality in a game where every nation is afraid of the Boogie Man and/or follow their puppet masters.

Deerland was lost during nighttime in Finland, we simply didnt have people to defend it because everyone was sleeping. Even a little bit of serbian action can take out whole battle on that critical time. We also had norway rw going on at the same time with PTO serbs fighting there too.
I do have to agree that the big alliances make this game alot shittier. I want a fair fights between border countries without any outsider interfering. Admins should change the game so that only players with citizenship can fight in that countrys battles.
president we want new resources \o/ 😃
Teekka:
Far from all of those battles took place during the night. I was awake and after day change I even sent messages to the Finnish president, runner-up in the election and Petsku, asking them what the problem was. Only Petsku replied and he didn't understand it either. The Norwegian RW wasn't particularly fierce, and besides, the main problem here wasn't that Finland lost the region but the lack of coordination of its military and the lack of communication from their leaders to our cabinet.
If they're having military problems, they should inform us about it. We would have made more of an effort if we had known that Finland actually wanted to win that battle. As it stands now, we were left thinking that they deliberately lost it because it would give a cheesy reason for starting a TW and get the NE bonus, knowing that Sweden might soon be attacked by Canada and thus would probably have said no to a TW if they had asked us about it.
I'm a reasonable person, but I don't like fooling around.
