[Oinyo for CP] Article 2. What I have to offer as CP

Good day all.
So here are the meat and potatoes that I have to offer this month.
1.Stability in the eGov. I have been CP while we have been 100% wiped before and am a proven trustworthy person. I have not and will not steal a coin from our coffers. I will not change anything without due process and I will not do anything unexpected or silly to harm eCan.
2.Alliance?!? My first month in as CP I got us out of that terrible alliance that was crushing us. I then "Along with DMV and some others" broke the hatred the USA had for us that a certain other potential CP created and reinforced many times. My second term I went on a rampage talking to and befriending players from all around the world. Our numbered allies have never in the history of the game reached the numbers they were that month. We had most of the free world on our side fighting for us and rooting for us. Hell even the CP of eSpain "Who were our captors at the time" became a friend of mine and things started to become more civil. I will bring back to eCan what we have lost the following months after I left office. Our global standings.
3.Global standings. I will be blunt. Very few CP's know how to talk to others or have the time to do the work and the effort to raise us globally. Most want to dump money into the game and play everything as a lone wolf. We cannot grow and we cannot succeed as loners. We need to put the time and effort in to get more friends and allies THEN we need to KEEP them by having a constant open line of dialogue. Basic Interpersonal relationship 101. I am proven to be able to achieve goals when it comes to allies,friends and turning enemies that hate us with venom in their breath to players that shoot the crap about day to day events.
4.This is not a month for war. It is a month for bandaiding the BS that war mongrel CP's have done. I know it is more "fun" to have a hot head CP "hulk smash" with his wallet (or others) and get us wiped. But it is NOT fun to sit wiped for months/years. Let me do my job and get us unwiped or at least get us back on a path to being unwiped. Diplomacy is needed here unless someone wants to take out a house mortgage to win us all our land back. Or worst.. We funnel our own eCanadian players funds into other countries to buy mercs... Making them stronger and us weaker.
At some point we will need to stand up and start funding ourselves and start playing the game to win.
- Joining an alliance then doing nothing with them is not the way to win.
- Picking on countries that can crush us with ease is not the way to win.
- Being a global joke because no one knows how the hell to talk to others or how to keep relationships alive is not the way to win.
We need the basics and we need to get all of our players involved.
We need transparency and communication between the CP and the people ESPECIALLY when there is no congress.
I have the time. The motivation and the skills to get the job done.
Vote Oinyo and also become part of the team. We are all in this mess together. it will take all of us to get out of it.

4.This is not a month for war.
Can't say this and sound credible. Especially if you promote us getting "unwiped", which you are.
The solution to moving a bolder out of the door way is not always to smash it with a hammer.
Sometimes the smarter path is to push it aside or get others to come help you move it aside.
But a less cryptic answer is diplomacy and humanizing ourselves. Also do keep in mind in the past I have been CP during 2 "unwipes" There is a LOT that goes into it but you cannot win by only using the stick. You need to use the carrot as well 😉
Agreed but it isn't really what you are saying even if you mean it that way. Remember that for those that haven't made up their minds, how you are read is the only input that will count.
Also, this game has been distilled to war. So you may mean that you need more than war to achieve your goals (obvious statement) but you can't state that it isn't a time for war. There is literally no other game in town. ;p
Then lets bring back the political game. We had it. It is only in the last year that we threw away our politics and went war monger crazy.
War mongering got us this. Wiped again. Last time we were wiped for a solid year as other nations grew and grew more powerful.
Good case in point is the alliance between spain and Poland making them pretty much untouchable back then. We are a lone wolf and we tend to spit on those that attempt to befriend us.
I have changed that in the past and will change that once again. That is what I have to offer. Plus all the rest you have come to know from me or the last 3 years.
I don't see it that way. I don't think our current wipe is due to our warmonger ways at all. It has a heck of a lot more to do with opportunity and timing.
Also, I hope you realize that Canada has not been a lone wold in quite some time. We are very much a small fish playing in a big pond and trying to pull on the line with all our might and sometimes getting hooked, sometimes escaping with the worm.
Sounds like you want to pre-emptively concede to every enemy demand. Because that's the style of "leadership" I remember from last time. No thanks, I'll be voting for a "war mongrel."
That is your prerogative. Some men were born just to watch the world burn 😉
5. Having been CP, Oinyo still wants to be CP.
/A memo from Oinyo's balls: Please sir. We can't take much more of this pounding. Sir Lowhanging the Long has just recently decided to re-descend. Don't make him go back into hiding again.
Least we know that the other parties will welcome us with open minds and join us in pursuit of mutual benefit to everyone. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! No. No, they will murder us with words.
Time to pull out the old insult book. His mishandling of our Spanish liberation will long be stuck in the old timers minds concerning Oinyo as a possible CP candidate.
He can try and spin it for his own benefit but those like myself who were front and center leading the charge against Spain know what was really happening.
80% of posts I read now are finger pointing back and forth of days long past. At this point it's white noise half truths anyway. I consul myself with memories on how I single-handily fought off the Americans astride my giant unicorn and brought a long lasting peace to North America. Of course those were the days before I could shoot lasers from my eyes and rainbows from my ass.
All about track record and what happened was no half truth. Just saying were never going to forget that kind of idiocy even if you try and cover it up with unicorn rainbows from your a**.
If I was to treat it seriously, I'd put it this way:

Much like yourself, and many other eCanadian CPs, there is high points and low points in any term. Hell, the same CP can have a low term one month and a high term another month.
I've been blessed to be at the table of a lot of CP cabinets and I've seen people bust their ass just to have plans go up in smoke. I've also seen people work smart and get thrown on the public fire because the public will never know exactly what happened behind the scenes. Then there is a candyland month were everything just happens to go right and that lucky CP that month gets a pat on the head for a job well done. So to quantify the end result success of any given CP term, with complete and open honesty, particular in his fanatical partisan environment. Good luck.
I've never seen a month with Oinyo as CP were he didn't work hard. Not all his plans worked. Some just could not be made to work. But it wasn't from lack of effort nor activity. Now in a game that hemorrhages active players like this game is diseased, I choose to value that. Others would rather beat all non-believers out of eRepublik forever. When the servers finally shut down, then people can reflect on what was the better option.
Now if you are just beating the political party drum, I'd say catch the rainbow taste the rainbow.
My rate of CP success is beside the point in this conversation as I'm not running. I know my own track record and am under no dillusions of my own failures. Least all mine came after fighting tooth and nail till there was nothing but sharp sticks left.
ya sharp sticks with starved eCanadians desperate for leadership, but all they saw was a Rylde riding off into the sunset to eUSA...oh would miraculously return once the tough times for eCanada had passed
I know it cant ever be proved not but I believe that eCanada would be in a better position if we had regained the country back through diplomacy then through force (which only was allowed to happen with new game mechanics of RH and determination points, not by any groups genius military powers)

I've been playing this game too long.
Every pitch sounds like the last......apart from Rylde who sounds like a Facist and Dill who sounds like a pickle.

We did lots of things with LETO up to an including wiping the UK, providing support to wipe Poland and supporting our allies in Asteria in their other wars. We didn't always get a chance to be directly involved at the front line, but we gave it a go.
As far as picking fights with the big boys, well let's face it we love swinging above our weight class and it makes us unique.
Our international reputation is pretty damn good for now, I make sure of it, not everyone likes us but hey can't get everyone to indulge so to speak in our craziness 😉
