[NSP] Elections recap...
NapalmDoctor
One Candidate...
One and no one else. The crooked political parties that ravaged Canada will not stop. When you went to that voting link nobody but one. A democracy by defeniton is a form of government in which people choose leaders by voting. Remark the plurar form of leaders. That did not happened. What happened is a dominant-party system that allows (at least nominally) democratic multiparty elections, but the existing practices or balance of political power effectively prevent the opposition from winning the elections. That last defenition is the one of a one-party state.
This is outrageous and I want to hear the opinion of the people...

When Rylde is in charge, it is a one-party state. On occasion, the Canadian people get bored and decide to toy with totalitarianism for a while, because why not? 😛
active citizens: 420; new citizens today: 1; online now: 17; wants to be president: 1; outraged players: 1. ..... meh.....
Too true.
As a democracy, anyone and everyone has the right to create their own political party, invest the time, and run for prime minister. That being said, not many people want that time commitment, and the responsibility. If, in a democratic government, only one person decides to run... Who are we to blame but ourselves.
It is sad, to have seen such a great country, group of supporters, and game fall so far.
Thoroughly disheartened Canadian,
Dennis
there's about 5-7 of us that run the country from wars, allies and international relations making deals and treaties.
leadership is chosen from that little group as no one else has shown any interest in taking the reins. if you are all the power to you and perhaps message your nations leaders to get more involved.
but it was kinda awesome with no one else to vote for lmao
Your use of multi's to win was outrageous.
I am not from eCanada but he had 81 votes in total or so. 81 votes when you are the single candidate is not that much. Find another candidate and the multis will not work.
I'd be with you if we weren't on a slow march to the apocalypse. Reality is that rule by a few proven hardcore elites is the best way to salvage what little still can be from this dying e-world. I'm a bit surprised eCanada is still viable and on the map - the fact that it is, is thanks to those few.
