“Dio Brando, our blessed and holy immortal God Emperor, has bestowed upon each and every Pakistani the idea of love.”
- Chapter 11, Book of Dio

Every good Dioist has been charged with loving all things in this world, for Dio lives within all things, just as he lives within you and me. As such, friendship is one of the primary tools of the Dioist to show his love. Just as well, Friendship can help to convert the unbeliever who doubts the ways of Dio, his creations, and the beauty he bestowed on this world. In seeing the love and friendship conveyed by the Dioist, the unbeliever can get a glimpse of Dio’s love, and come to further understand him and his peace.

Friendships are an important part of Dioist society as it helps to keep the Peace that Dioism promotes. In the friendships forged within the nation, we create peace between the whole of the people. This Peace sets an example and radiates out to the masses and into our international friendships, helping to further promote Dioism and Peace in the world. Peace must be forged at home as Peace is forged in the world.

Dio himself gave us a parable of friendship, a story of two young children. It is a story of friendship and tolerance between people that goes as follows:

Abdul, a young child and believer of Dioism went to Dio-school daily. He prayed regularly in the temple and was an obedient son. He was friends with Vaclav, a heathen immigrant from Sweden in Pakistan. Vaclav was not permitted to go to Dio-school, being a Swedish immigrant, but he frequented the local public school.

One day, the path of these two young children crossed. It was at the local park where the two played football with others. At the end of the game, the two came into a discussion. “Vaclav, do you believe in Dio?” Abdul asked Vaclav. Vaclav denied and said “Dio? He does not exist. There is only one god, his name is god.”, Abdul answered him and asked “How do you know that Dio does not exist?” Vaclav simply replied that “I know.” Then Abdul began to show him how he knows that Dio exists “Do you see the sky? Do you see the sand upon which we walk? Do you see the trees and their rich green color? All this is Dio.” Vaclav was doubtful “How do you know that Dio made all this?”, Abdul simply answered “I know, because all of Dio's creations are beautiful. But don't worry, Vaclav, you too can be beautiful if you find Dio within yourself and learn to love and cherish all that is within this world”

Vaclav, deeply insulted by Abdul's remark began to call Abdul names and push him. Abdul did not defend himself, but instead turned 360 degrees and smiled at him. Vaclav, clearly confused by this sort of behaviour which was new to him, gave up trying to fight Abdul. He asked how he could accept Dio into his heart. Abdul simply gave him a hug. Within seconds, Vaclav's hair changed to a dark black, the color of his eyes turned from bright blue to hazelnut brown, his hooves turned into hands with thumbs and for the first time in his life, he smiled. Truly, Dio had opened his heart and mind.

- The Book of Dio, Chapter 11

In all things that are beautiful, Dio can be found within. I urge you all to find Dio inside of you and embrace his beauty and his peace. Know that the kindness of this world can unlock Dio within you. Let that kindness radiate in all you do, as Abdul did. For he was not willing to harm his friend who insulted him and rather smiled at him, as Dio’s love implored him to do.

We are called to love all things, even those that intend to do harm to us.

However, the state cannot force Dio upon you. It is an inner journey that one must take by themselves. Discover he who made the world, and the warm sands that have brought comfort to generations of Pakistanis and eRepublikans alike.

Embrace Dio’s Love.
Embrace Peace within yourself.

So I ask you today,

Would you like a hug?
