[eUK - CP] No War [EDIT]

Hey.

Last night eIrish CP proposed us as Natural Enemies, and at the moment it looks like their law will pass.

His explanation was “Im drunk and wanting to enjoy myselfhahhaa”, but let’s be honest; for a drunk decision this one was pretty safe (:

As we declined their offer of “Wargames” at the start of my term, if this was truly a drunk decision it looks to me more like exGF drunk late night messages.

But no matter the reasons, here we are. Our responding NE looks like it will fail at the moment, so I urge the rest of Congress that hasn’t voted yet to vote YES.

I know most of you don’t care that much about this whole situation. We all know that wars don’t matter in eRep for some time now. But let's try to deal with eIrish as fast as possible as not to interrupt our gold farming TWs.

At least this time they didn't wait for several other countries to attack us simultaneously so it looks like they grew some balls after all. I'll give them that.

As the NE needs a Super Majority to pass, unless my maths is wrong it's already failed. Even if every vote left including CP was now cast as an Aye it would still be only 27/41 which is less than 66%. Maybe people in the eUK should actually discuss the merits of a war before rushing to propose as we know a good many seem unable to hold their votes until discussions are held even though they have 24 hours in which to vote.

Have Ireland undermined their efforts in helping to liberate the eUS by launching a war of this kind?

The only one I see is Y&H and we loose that RW everytime.

Which is the entire point of Y&H... we get the bonuses, we lose the RWs...

There are also the Bulgaria and Macedonia TWs.

You guys do keep yourselves up to date right? I only ask because it seems you yourself are always out of the loops, even when the loops is 3 months old.

We used to have a CP who gave us info on which wars would get us which gold and also upcoming RWs but I have not had any info about Bulgarian or Mace RWs. As for being in the loop I am slightly behind @ pres and if I'm lagging a little just imagine what it's like for peeps under ex lvl 20!

Yeah I get that and thanx Mr Emprah for bringing up my previous quote; it however does not change the situation that I have seen a support request for Romania but since we do not win = no gold if supported.
In addition never seen a support request for Bulgaria or Macedonia and therefore never had any gold from them at all.

Aye EMPRAH was posting when I was CP too, he's pretty good like that.

Unfortunately it does seem like you need to know exactly when they're coming up to be able to grab the RH medals.

There are people actively hunting them now where (As we know) TWs are a very common and predictable thing now.

We actually paused a TW for a bit during my term because of that issue.

I think the only way around it is to post the upcoming RWs in advance in an agreed location where only eUK citizens can see it to make sure we're getting the most out of it all - What we really need is a revitalised MoD. It's difficult to find anyone who wants to put in that sort of work for this game though.

Additional: With the Romania issue - having a TW there where we lose is nice for those who grab BH medals and it's the agreement. However it'd pretty rubbish to start a TW that you know you're going to lose. I'd leave it to those who want to open it out of the kindness of their own heart, and RH hunters who didn't do their research 😛

It's inconsistent. Sometimes RW is supported in minutes and sometimes it takes 12+ hours to fill 10 spots (:

All of us need to get a bit more on that then - I still say the best answer is a revitalised MoD or/and working on making sure someone is around to notify the moment it's up or in advance.

Yeah, agreed with all that. There too many other peeps jumping in and grabbing what should be a country limited benefit.
