This is a response to the accusations in Azure Falcon's latest article
SURPRISE! Admins lied about the rules and now they benefit Romania (EN/HU)
where he accuse elements in eRep Labs to leak information to certain players in eRomania. He also argue very solid for why these accusations are true and give several examples from the past that indicates with a high level of certainty that his accusations are indeed true.
Elements in eRep Labs gave information on future changes to the rules regarding the resource war to someone in eRomania!
Everyone knows how bad eRep Labs has treatened their playerbase over the years. They have allowed the game to be dumbened down so much that it is now almost on a primal level.
We have all sticked to this game in hopes for a better future. We believed that one day ...
One day eRep Labs will finally realize what they have done to their baby and take proper actions to correct the mistakes and start improving the game we all love.
A normal game would have lost their playerbase many years ago with treatment such as eRep Labs have given its players but we have sticked to the game. The reason can be found in Bonte's update article where he say they have indications that the players in eRepublik are more intelligent than what is common in other online games.
Even though we feel apathetic and more or less expect these things to happen:
"I don't know how any of you can possibly act surprised.. any rules they didn't know about in advance were adjusted to suit them after the fact.
Cheaters gonna cheat.. free ebs, protected bots, direct battle manipulaion and advance information. It's fun shouting abt it and making them mad, but it won't change.
Admins cheat.. always have, always will."
We players demand a fair game with rules that are equal for everyone. Allowing certain players to have special treatments is devastating for a game, and especially for a game like eRepublik, where we are meant to create societies.
The only way a society can exist over time is by having trust from its members. The members must feel assured that there is transparency and that proper actions are taken when someone break the rules and give someone special treatment.
This is also very representative for how a player expect an online game to be. We don't like cheating, and we all demand to be treated similar and to have similar information and rights. This is why companies have ethical standards and moral guidelines to follow.
Erep Labs has proven over the years that we as players can't trust that a customer is a customer. That everyone have equal rights.
I am a paying customer in this game. I spend real life money for the greater good of both citizens in my country eNorway, but also because I believe in the dream eRepublik once provided.
The dream of a better future in the New World! That we really could create a good dream to believe in and that we were able to work together to improve our societies with similar rules to everyone.
The accusations in Azure Falcon's article, and the massive response to it, might very well be the last nail in the coffin for this game if eRep Labs doesn't react to the accusations in a proper way.
As a paying customer I demand an internal investigation in eRep Labs to find out if the accusations are true.
Is it true that someone in eRep Labs gave someone in eRomania information about future changes to the rules in advance?
I demand full transparency and I demand truthfulness and I demand proper actions to be taken if it turns out that the accusations are true!

THE PROBLEM IS THAT PLATO CHANGES THE RULES OF THE GAME WHEN HE WANTS AND PEOPLE PAYED MONEY SO THEY CAN ACHIVE THE PLANS ACCORDING TO THE FIRST POSTED RULES...
IS SOMETHING LIKE I SELL YOU A CAR WITH 4 WHEELS.. AND WHEN YOU COME TO COLLECT IT I GIVE YOU ONE WITH NO WHEELS
It had been proven multiple times that eRomania gets internal information....
Not to mention the scandals with free gold and energy bars couple of years back.
So any investigation will just reveal the obvious and still no one will get punished.
Also by proper actions you would basically need the entire erep labs fired. And we all know it is not going to happen.
You have of course valid arguements. Still, it can't stop me from demanding justice. Another very valid point is that this is just as devastating for eRomania as a nation. It is not fair to blame eRomania. eRep Labs is the one to blame.

Easy...Remember the fact that a couple of years ago eRomanian new players received nearly 10 times the rewards for levelling up? There was extensive evidence, screenshots, articles .....for a day. Nothing was done against the ones that perpetrated it (members of eRep labs 😁
Your ex-MoD, CP and whatnot yonutzd has admitted to having internal information in informal talks (mind you I will not point out who he was talking to) so this is not just an urban legend. As I believe de Reyter said in the other article - it is a common knowledge and we have accepted our fate.
As a matter of fact I am not blaming eRomania. In fact plenty of other people would have done the same in their stead. Some of the moderators are doing it as well, even when they are not Romanian.
It is the human nature to be like this.
Is there any article remaining about Romanians getting extra benefits (eb/level up/whatever) that you could send over? Maybe a waybackmachine link? A I am very curious to read it!

It's part of playing this game, to know it's been rigged. It's the community most of us are staying for, and log in day after day...
But it is still wrong! I don't think we should silently accept what is wrong. We have a voice.

In this case it may be so however as I said there were mutliple occasions the administration has proven time and again its willingness to co-operate with eRomanian authorities outside the rules 🙂
So I dont support anything since nothing will be done in the end 🙂
They should just allow presidents to reallocate the resources. Noone (except Romania?) knew how will polution work.
They can just give us equal rules. Blaming eRomania won't do anything good. We must remember there are a majority of citizens in eRomania totally outside this.
and what if they wouldnt change a thing? how would have been then our choice to place resources seen?
we have only 2 regions that are not at the border with possible enemies. and we placed everything in them. just because somehow plato changed something and we had luck to look like we benefit (even do if you do the math, „our chate” is not that a big avantaje at all) to start cry like a lil girl, like azure did, that ero cheated... thats just dumb and prove the average IQ of erep players.
I neither cry nor blame eRomania. This is just as devastating for eRomania as for the rest ot the eWorld. I blame eRep Labs.
Reading all your comments on various feeds and articles and how you frenetically argue and even call this braindead actually makes me more suspicious and that there are truth to the accusations.
As you see I demand an investigation in eRep Labs. I don't blame eRomania and I even in a comment say it is great for luck eRomania if they didn't know.
Relax man, you are just making it worse and get more and more people to believe something fishy have been going on.
In fact you should welcome an internal investigation in eRep Labs so that you weren't accused of playing unfair. It would benefit eRomania most of all to find out what is true and not true in the accusations.
do you even read your own article? and what you quote? my comments, 90% in this subject, on azure article or feed were mostly to piss people off. i wrote 2-3 times how we ended up having mixed resources, but when a zombie want to believe something, i just let him do it. after all, if no one NE us, this is just small talk.
i dont care about their investigation of something that never happened. you can ask them to change back the rule as it was announced, i can support that. but to ask investigation on someones wet dream, thats just idiotic. also, youre in a game.

To be honest this was not really such a stretch. Different industries have different pollution. The only other option would be all industries will have the same pollution. Any country could have come to this conclusion. The fact that you say only romania did it is a bit ridiculous . the only person i think really had inside information is the cp of india who did absolutely nothing , knowing fully how everything will work whilst all other nations was running around like madmen.
I don't say that Kraken. I ask some questions I demand answers on. I never blamed eRomania, I have in fact been very clear on separating eRomania and eRep Labs.

actually it seems to me having good region bonuses will be actually worst than average regions. if i said this today to you based on my own maths(just like their guess required 50% accuracy) will you say that i had advanced knowledge if it is so. because im telling you today good regions bonuses will be nullified. i dont mind conspiracy theories but considering my own data i think most people have the cat by the tail and it seems like a storm in tea cup they having multiple rare resources in the one region.
I think for most players you can just place your holding in your country's capital and be just fine. It's not more difficult than that. Nitpicking about a percent or two is what confuses people
