{CPF} Congress and Progress
Funky 24
As you can tell, eCanada will have no Congress until March 26th, or pending the next Congressional election where we are not wiped by some very mean Spaniards. As a political party with no Congress members (something I am used to actually) we can only hope our Executive and our Military Unit leaders do what needs to be done, and ensure that we gain back eCanada at least a region for next month. I’m not privy to MU message threads or our diplomacy efforts and only hope that Rolo Tahmasee does more to communicate beyond verbally assaulting Military Dictatorship Party members.
If there were a Congress, right now I could be writing about the official guide for CPF Congress members that would have been sent out, or why I didn’t select any of our Congress members from last month. Oh well.
No Congress means more responsibility for Party Presidents to carry the community narrative and find alternative ways of engaging people politically. The message thread Clan Wolf PP Oinyo set up with me and the PPs of the Imperial Party of Canada and MDP has turned out to be a bust and an example of the failure of elites in providing for eCanada. After not disclosing how this was useful in the past, he suggested we coordinate Congress member selection.
Which is ridiculous. I was already elected promising a pre-determined methodology. Apparently the other PPs were elected to figure this out as they went along. Comm/unity roleplaying is always secondary to the sovereign authority afforded to a Party President to decide who gets to run for Congress, something I thought the successor to Tyrael Snow would understand.
As a consequence, I have decided that inner party growth is much more important for our national community than inter party bickering. So to the other PPs: I will be doing my own thing. Failing to keep up with eCanada’s Premier Party President is not a (very handsome) reflection of my superiority. It’s a reflection of your failure to do your role for eCanada. Leading a party to decline makes you not only unworthy of my attention, but unworthy of your position. Failing to stop decline makes you a danger to not only your party, but makes your party a danger to this community. It makes you a danger to this community.
Only the progressive citizen can set us free from domination.

I still don't think that brushing the other parties away is the wisest course of action, especially those who have been friends to.
The message thread has been dead for a week now anyway so I doubt the opportunity cost is high.
Also, don't put me in your message threads. I'll call you a suck up and needlessly criticise you in front of 28 other people and write articles about how silly your message thread is.
Friends? Political party's dont need no stinkin friends!
Funky puts his foot down.
I applaud your decision.
Funky has already used harden i see

Don't Stop The Funk
hello funky
Hi.
CPF!
We all need to get along if we're ever to prosper as a enation.
Deeply ironic given CW party members (and myself) helped you get elected to PP when the cry of a PTO went up. Though how Auk Rest is a PTO threat is still a mystery to me.
I wasn't a PTO threat, I wanted Funky to win and actually coordinated to get him elected. Though I do find it rather disrespectful now that he doesn't care about the inter-party friendships cultivated these last few months.
Inter-party friendships sound nice, but in essence they will always have a hidden truth. You'll be MUCH more likely to vote for a Candidate from a party you're friendly with. Either stop picking favorites, or stop the love is how I see it. Especially now, with all of the parties trying to actually get more involved. I'm seeing alright Candidates everywhere.
I do not owe CW any thanks for interfering in my election.
You owe a bit of thanks. Tiny bit.
I told Auk to run against me. I expected to win, but was fine with losing in a hard fought election. You know, democracy and all that jazz...
