[Ash] Old Friends and New

Greetings all,

Its been a very interesting week and the title of this article is a double entendre that perfectly reflects what has transpired.

On the individual front, we have seen some long dead oldies crawl back out of the woodwork thanks to the infectious enthusiasm that our new Dictator Pizzarayne (aka Mav) has brought! A few notable returnees are Vivekanand, Shiv, Graf Sprat and hopefully soon, Prabal/Abhinay as well. Good to see old friends come back to the fold and we are hoping to pull a few others in as well.



Its been the same on the national front as well, with our old friends Bulgaria coming back in after kicking out the Romanians emphatically. Bulgaria as we all know have been our big brother (much more than an ally) and with them around, it isn't as easy for hostile (or arrogant) nations to try and take advantage of our weakness in numbers.
Old friends aside, we have also embarked on making new friends and allies. The first step was taken by Vijaykrsihna who has initiated talks and military co-ordination with Mexico. Hopefully this will lead to good things very soon.



Today we also reached out to help our old friends, Spain in their battle against France in the Basque Country. The battle currently rages on and India has been making its presence felt.

We now have quite a sizable fighting force of active players and shortly will be quite a force to reckon with among the smaller nations. To test our soldier strength, we will soon be having a battle where all of our citizens join up and fight...just gently flexing our muscles. This will undoubtedly have prizes for sure!!



There are also plans to re-initialise our mentor program alongwith advertising and baby boom efforts...so stay tuned for our dynamic Dictator and his updates!
